The go to example I use is Rogue One. Rogue One had two characters that utilized the de-aging tech. Moff Tarkin and Leia
Moff Tarkin looked fine because his scenes were shot in dark light. Leia in that ultra bright ass room tho

The movie script was fine but it exposed the director and CGI in some scenes.

Prof X was cut-in at a later date .. re-watch the scene again. That is why his fight with Wanda was separate and why his dialog didn't mesh together with the others.
One of Marvel's biggest elephants in the room is their over reliance on constant reshoots. It's making these projects sloppy and all over the place

Most likely. But check the roof scene with catwoman when theyre threatening to toss the guy off the roof. The city skyline was in the day and looked fine. When i saw it was done on a stage with screens surrounding I was in shock.
Compare that to the shots above (of reed and photon) with the fake sky. It just will never look right. Lighting will help but fake looks fake.

Good insight here, especially since this is the same guy that's the writer for Kang Dynasty. He's purposefully showcasing his human attributes and vulnerability before escalating to universal threat. Which means this is all going to be personal whereas with Thanos, everyone was just a casualty in his grand scheme.
Seems like Kang is built differently.
