With no #1 WR on the road vs Buffalo in frigid temperatures. Again the first int wasn't his fault as Bateman broke the route off too soon. Fumble was a horrible mistake trying to save a bad snap.

Sports discourse is bad right now because he did play great (relatively). He just didn't play perfect/clean.

Now we're blaming Bateman for Lamar throwing the ball straight to Rapp. the nikka probably would've still picked that if Bateman was there....he lobbed that shyt straight to the defender :mjlol:

I dont get post like these,I be thinking im watching different games. Lamar was solely the reason the Ravens was down 21-10, arguably could have been 24 due to the holding call going into the 2nd half. Point of playoff ball is to take care of the ball, he was terrible with doing that which resulted in the Ravens losing. Lamar's bad play the first half is the reason the gameplan went completely out the window

He didn’t play great, what game were you watching? His two first half turnovers led to a hole his team couldn’t overcome. He played better in the 2nd half but this wasn’t a great game for him. It was mid at best

Watch that shyt without the emotion breh. The WR went into his break at the 35 so of course it looks worse. He's past/over the top of the defender and the football is outside the numbers. Bateman is making a play on the ball. If the ball is thrown more inside then your point would make sense about lobbing it straight to the defender. It might get broken up or it might get high pointed by Bateman like he did later in the game. Like the damn tweet explains wtf happened lol How are you misjudging NFL speed.

So by every metric QB rating/QBR/PFF. (all about on par with except maybe his PFF grade with MVP caliber regular season)...it was viewed as a great game :beli:

The fumble was purely on him and bad.

Unless you mean amazing like 300 yards 4 tds, etc). I didn't say that. :hubie:

He had a terrible fumble. The int that led to zero points wasn't on him. All 22 disproves some of the shyt you talking. Agree to disagree cause we might just see it different.

i understand he WR ran the route wrong, does that mean we're supposed to completely absolve Lamar of making an errant read? i watched the game in full speed and and that play in slow motion. You're the QB of an NFL team....are you just throwing the ball where someone is supposed to be every time? if that's the case Lamar would never scramble or break for large gains after a pass play is blown up.

and now QB ratings/QBR/PFF (all shyt you can see w/o watching any of the game) mean more than thecoli coveted "eye test" :patrice:

Lamar is a great QB, he deserves regular season MVP again, but y'all gotta chill with the babying.

I agree it wasn't a terrible performance
Andrews still fukked up at the end.

My problwm is that Lamar had some really sabotaging plays.

1) The sack the goal line. They had the ball at the 2 yard line. They could have gotten a TD on that posession!

2) the horrific fumble that wasted the drive and spotted Buffalo a touchdown

3) the awful throw to Andrews on one other possession

4) the first 2pt conversion attempt where likely was wide open

5) the interception (which although inconsequential due to his defense making a stop... it still wasted a possession)

One of these is fine. 2 of them is okay. But 3? Then 4? You can't blame the game on someone else.

Especially when youre the MVP and have Henry. Your defense

Lamar obviously shouldn't get 100% of the blame. But I won't give him "credit for fighting back" since that's the bare minimum for a QB, let alone a 3x MVP in the playoffs, year 7.
Fair enough!
Thread title hilarious
