Do you know why people focus more on his turnovers? So despite him delivering in the clutch, you’re focused on the first half as opposed to the all pro with 3 drops and a fumble, all coming on different drives to ruin each one. The ravens scored on every drive after halftime except where Andrews fumbled and if he can simply hang onto a wide open pass, the story is Lamar leading an 88 yard touchdown drive to tie the game in less than a minute if not win the game in some other fashion if he doesn’t have a mental meltdown and juke backwards in the process of losing that fumble. Seriously what sense does it make to say the all pro tight end dropping the pass that would’ve tied the game with 93 seconds left to lose the game is an excuse and not what directly caused them to lose the game? That’s like blaming Kurt Warner for the cardinals losing Super Bowl 43 as opposed to the defense folding in the clutch because of the Harrison pick 6 in the first half when he more than did his job in the 2nd half.
Lamar for whatever reason is the only quarterback I’ve ever seen where people are more focused on a a first half turnover that didn’t result in a defensive score or even the ensuing possession starting in the red zone than they are the fact that his target dropped the tying score with the season on the line one drive after a backbreaking fumble that also cost them more on the scoreboard than what they lost by.
It’s because he’s more sloppy with the ball in the postseason compared to his regular performances and the numbers show it. It’s and how ironic people would always like to point out Allen’s turnover issues (include Lamar defenders), but now want to juelze and downplay his in the postseason.
It’s more goofy the excuse are making as those turnovers could have led to points for the Ravens and not put them in that situation at the end of the games. It don’t matter whether the Bills did score them as the Ravens didn’t either.
Also put some respect on Henry’s name as he essentially got them back in the gsme before that drive.
