Ok, bammer, here's the thing: Making fun of a baby should have been out of bounds. Period. If people are not rushing to defend her, it's because of the nature of the offense. It's indefensible. And her and Cornel West have beef from way back re: Obama, so that's were it comes from. I think this is about the fact she stepped over the line and then made a fool of herself crying and apologizing. I don't know who you're referring to in particular but the most famous Black feminists like Angela Davis, Kimberle Crenshaw, and Barbara Smith, or even people like Toni Morrison, who are all still operating today, have never said anything even remotely resembling the idea that Black men are the enemy or that they are more responsible for oppression than White men and women.
