Where are all the black men rallying around her? .

She's a black feminist that believes the black patriarchy is holding her back from her full potential, so i saw let her fight her own battles. I'm sure if some black man got involved they would somehow end up getting blame for the outcome.

Black feminism = poison for the black community.

it's really hard defending someone like melissa harris. i'd like to but she's like a male version of al sharpton. it would be hard for me to defend a black woman on fox news too.
they're on their own in those networks. i actually find it funny ann coulter trolling her ass. sucks but that's what it is.
I don't care what you think

It's not funny that random cacs... and this disgusting bytch Coulter are attacking her. MH may do the normal TV tapdancing.... but no, I don't condone the unwarranted cac attack on this sister.

Ok, bammer, here's the thing: Making fun of a baby should have been out of bounds. Period. If people are not rushing to defend her, it's because of the nature of the offense. It's indefensible. And her and Cornel West have beef from way back re: Obama, so that's were it comes from. I think this is about the fact she stepped over the line and then made a fool of herself crying and apologizing. She should have stood tall, especially since people on the right and the corporate right (and even the corporate left) do this all the time

dont give a fukk.. not even the most miniscule amount of fukks

If I knew her personally, I would have told her that was sorta fukked up... but I would say keep it moving. We don't have enough intellectual black women on TV for her to have emotional breakdowns because of CAC opinions of a fukking joke.

i don't care about her or Cornel West opinions on Obama.. I know that with all their flaws, that brother and that sister represent and have put in more work than all their 'E-Critics'.

Coulter can eat a dikk, and MHP should either tell her that... or ignore this shyt.

first of all i don't care how much work she's put. i have never watched her show but being that she's on msnbc she's probably just a democrat dancer like al sharp (whose dancing wiped all the work he's ever done in his early years).

any other bytch i can defend. but the moment she started with the crying she opened up to be trolled. this is the innanets and it's my duty to troll anyone that opens themselves up :ucku:.

you're trying too hard to "defend black women" when you don't even have a black bytch:youngsabo:. aint your woman latina or some sh1t... :pachaha:

you calling me out now???? I bet your wify is jewish :lolbron:

my first bm was latina, spoke spanish mainly... but was black. she claimed black so that's what we're gonna go w. :ehh:
my Jamaican bm is the one who looks like she has irish in her... but is black.
my other one is 'technically' black too... and is darker than me so....
and i fukk rats round detroit all the time. And I won't even marry the wify materiel asian women because they are asian... I'm waiting on a black queen, but she has some lame rich nikka she's w so I have to wait... and will practice on white, asian, etc hoes until she drops him.

but even if i was a pawg lover, I would defend black women because black women don't even defend black women-- it's up to us.

She not an Al Sharpton.. she might do the liberal tapdancing like him - But she's also an intellectual, a real journalist, and a good woman.

She should never have apologized.

Why are racist whites afforded the opportunity to cry "it's just satire" or "it's just a joke" or "I have a RIGHT to say it" but this black woman felt that she needed to give a teary eyed apology?

Besides it's not like Harris-Perry was wrong about Romney's kid. :yeshrug:

And like you said, white people have said far more offensive things and didn't even try to apologize so they don't deserve an apology :birdman:

And how do they act now? They won't even think of calling out white men.

I don't know who you're referring to in particular but the most famous Black feminists like Angela Davis, Kimberle Crenshaw, and Barbara Smith, or even people like Toni Morrison, who are all still operating today, have never said anything even remotely resembling the idea that Black men are the enemy or that they are more responsible for oppression than White men and women.

Yeah, I'm sure. You should actually take a look at some of the founding texts of Black feminism and see for yourself. It's all there.
Where do these dudes on this site get their picture of what feminism is from? Tariq Nasheed or Tommy Sotomayor or one of those other clown ass uneducated youtube celebrities? I don't get it. Not just the misunderstanding of feminism, but the preoccupation with feminism period. I have never had a conversation with another male about feminism outside of the internet in my life.
