I’m not going to sleep Thursday night. I’m gonna press “add to my library”, press “play”, then coming straight here. All the vitriol, sadness, and tears are going to be magnificent. I’m going to read every comment like Steve Willis watching a fight.

Then when the album is finished I’m going to sleep peacefully knowing the GOAT is happy, healthy, and doing whatever cockamamie shyt he wants to do.
He isn’t dead or dying from drug overdoses, health problems, beef. He ain’t struggling financially, fighting child support cases for 11 children, making gofundme’s.
He didn’t drop a half ass rap album that his heart wasn’t in, I can live with that.

1) Andre 3000 announcing this album actually made the news.
2) People that are clearly upset that this isn't a rap album complaining about others anticipating a "flute" album all while continuing to post in the thread.
3) The whole "Andre 3000 is overrated" crowd in this thread knowing they will be in the album thread and revisiting this one when the album drops.
4) People mad that this isn't a rap album not because they are fans, but because they couldn't wait to start the "Now that Andre 3000 has dropped a rap album, can we all agree that he isn't or never was a GOAT contender".
5) Regardless of how good or bad this album is, it won't sway opinions either way. Some will call it genius just because its different. Some will call it trash without even hearing it. Some will appreciate it for what it is. Others won't care one way or another. The people that view Andre 3000 as one of the GOATs will continue to do so. Those that feel he's overrated will continue to stand on their opinion.
