Yeah, South Savannah was just "rapping"Would neg you again if I could.
If you think Big Boi was "just rapping" go listen to those albums again.
Most of that album was throwaways from “Stankonia” sessions
This seems like a cop out to me. Being a "creative" doesn't mean your above rap. If hes that good at rappingIt's the smartest thing he can do. It means he has no great music left in him. The man has been telling us that in 10 different ways over the years.
I think when you are young and making great music, you're catching lightning in a bottle. Recreating that magic is nearly impossible. Which why 'going a different direction' is the best way(esp at an der age)
For those now questioning 3 stacks' resume, Andre is not just a rapper he's a creative. When you can compose music, write hooks and not just sample a beat and rap to it you see things differently.
For him to get even close to his peak, he has to get his rhythm going. Meaning dropping EP's and warm up albums to get the feel of the audince, the mood, the era, the stage etc. Once you get out of rhythim of songwriting it takes a while to get back. It ain't 2001 anymore you need to make music for your audince and also get a couple of hits that engage the 18-24 age crowd if you don't wanna feel like your project failed.
He clearly has been spending time in the studio, y'all don't think he has tried?
I don't believe that... He just dropped an AMAZING fukking verse on Kanye's album. Rap skills don't just fade away. It's your brain, not your legs or somethingIt's the smartest thing he can do. It means he has no great music left in him. The man has been telling us that in 10 different ways over the years.

De Angelo (even though it's not Hip-Hop)Facts!! When's the last time a crew, or even a solo artist, came back on some "it's been a long time but I'm back!!!!!!!"
And anybody cared or thought it was on par with their earlier work?
Royal Flush and what else? All I know is SLLF was mufukkin FIYAH from start to finish. The 2 tracks with Andre that weren't allowed to be on the album were fuego too. Glad I had them on my unofficial version of that album.
Mufukkin FIYAH!!! Stacks tried to get this joint and Royal Flush on the album, but they got denied.Royal Flush and what else?
