Hopefully, Kishimoto uses the hiatus and explores the world. He should open up more of the setting by going deeper into the other hidden villages. Introducing some Warring Clan era lore would also be a good addition.

Like somebody else said Boruto could’ve really benefited from exploring other villages. Hell we still don’t know how the nations & daimyos work when you think about it. Why are they just letting these ninjas run around?!? Scientific ninja tools should’ve been created by them to keep ninjas in check.

Kishimoto had a great opportunity reset power scaling like JJBA, but now we are literally at the end of Naruto kaguya arc but everyone are children.
