The programming architecture for the ps4 is superior now compared to the xbox. The system itself is superior. We have the edge across all fronts. Xbox, in its current form only exists to make games look worse than they would on the PS4. Thats not a product i can support but i guess some people feel brand loyalty, to a fault.

But it all comes down to 2 comparable CPU's in your mind? The devs at Sony are genius and know what they're doing to make this system the best console in the history of gaming. People outside of AMerica dont use american cable providers. What about people that use satellites, etc. Microsoft is finished in gaming. breh playing PS3 exclusives and then multiplats on Xbox are not even comparable.

A few months ago I said that PS4 fanboys better hope that Microsoft comes out with something at least equivalent to the PS4's hardware. Because if they didn't it would hold the PS4 back because the XBOX One would be the platform of choice.

there is talk about making games that offload stuff onto the server. that's what EA was claiming they were doing with Sim City, and some MMO's already do that

Yes it's about 33 percent less compute shader performance compared to the gpu in the PS4. It is yet to be shown how this will translate into games. See my previous post about cpu's

Not so fast, Yes the main bank of DDR3 is slower than the GDDR5 ram but you are not accounting for the 32mb esram. The throughput will be much closer when all things are considered.

See this where the fool comes out. Sony is a company barely staying alive. They are hardly genius. I'm not a fanboy for either company. But I look at all sides and buy what best for me. Ok buy whats best for you then, inferior hardware,, have to stay connected to the internet to play games offline, use AA batteries for your controller, cant play used games unless you pay a fee, have to pay to play games online, a system designed around not targeted high end graphics (out of their own mouths), no microphones, just speaking to Kinect, TV features designed only for the united states.

This is an ideal experience for you? I hope not, friend.

So are you going to tell me that the Devs are going to develop/create higher res assets and then down sample everything as needed for the XBOX One? Or come up with creative streaming and particle generation methods for the XBOX One to get around these imaginary (as of yet) limitations?

Doubt it. That adds hundreds of hours on to the dev time. Which they will get nothing in return. Think their going to sell more copies of a PS4 game because it has more realistic fog than the XBOX One version? How many people own both consoles?

Why do that when they can just create a great looking next gen game on the XBOX One and port it directly to the PS4 with no fuss involved.

Well, what if, ps4 is the lead dev system this gen. It can happen. With the system being so easy to develop for it may end up being the Xbox DUNG that gets the ports. Thats all speculation though so theres no sense arguing it. Still, PS4 should be the lead dev this gen. This is what the internet wants and it will better serve the fans of the soon to be generational leader this gen, PS4.

With so many of the xbox features being US only, how can they compete globally. They are going to want privilege for inferiority and thats not going to happen this gen, God willing, friend.
