Consoles will largely be a thing of the past. I’m not the biggest fan of never owning in my life because it sounds like a corporate dystopia, but I digress.

Consoles will not be a thing of the past in our life time. The sales have been increasing from the 80s to now; that is 40 years.

There was an assumption that the younger generation would be more tech savy but they're not.

The appeal of just being able to pop in a game and play will be with us for the foreseeable future. The only thing I can see this changing is if streaming games becomes seamless which it won't because of how the transferring data functions.
