Breh respond to my posts a few months back about the DOT, Kathy Park Price, Transportation Alternatives, their relationship with NYC politics or cut it the fukk out.

You did'nt then, and you never will, because you know I'm right and it puts a whole dent in your performative virtual signaling garbage.

This is the type of dishonest shyt I'm talking about. This is why I don't actually think you're Black.

you wanted me to respond to this rambling?:heh:

You see?

"Killer Giants"

"Rolling Two Ton Death Machines"

They do that shyt on every post, whenever there's an accident ANYWHERE in NYC

They don't even want to call it an accident anymore...they call it "traffic violence" and have even cucked the NYPD into calling it that

These people cannot and will not be reasoned with and the minute you give them a small inch they will take the entire YARD

Kathy Park Price, a rich asian woman who married a CAC with money and power, lives in Park Slope and spend all of her time trying to get neighborhoods to close streets permanently and remove cars from neighborhoods.

She's been doing this in Fort Greene/Clinton Hill, Bed-Stuy, Flatbush....and she has ZERO connections to those neighborhoods, but has connections to Bill "FukkBoy" DeBlasio, Antonio Reynoso (mega shythead) and the rest of the wannabe fauxgressives that have been infecting this city for quite some time now, especially since the pandemic.

how about you acknowledge this.

When you hold their bullshyt under the microscope, you realize all it is is neoliberal garbage designed to sell neighborhoods and entire cities to corporate America in any way possible, from AirBNBs to Uber/Lyft.

I've lived in NYC my whole life

Traffic did NOT get as bad as it was until Uber and Lyft were allowed to operate here and add over 100K additional vehicles to the road around 2012
snippet:
The greener behavior of New Yorkers shows up in much lower rates of car ownership. New Yorkers own fewer than a third as many cars per capita as the average U.S. urban resident (about 23 per 100 residents compared to about 77 per 100 in most urban areas). If New Yorkers drove as much as the average American, the city would have 4.5 million more cars. Just storing the additional vehicles would require a parking lot the size of Manhattan—about 25 square miles.

we need transportation alternatives if you want to be able to continue driving and parking care-free.:sas2:

The U.S. is entirely too big and sparse for this to happen. Even our metropolitan areas are too big and sparse for this to happen.
:yeshrug:

So, basically… this bike culture bullshyt is not happening over here. We love cars too much too. Kudos to the Dutch and ‘nem though.

You're trying to argue with someone who has no respect for actual hard facts and numbers. It's a waste of time, it would be like trying to teach a toddler rocket science.

@bnew has a passion for bicycles and think they are the better alternative to cars...why are yall going st his neck so hard lol
Because his passion does not reflect reality, and the organizations that he promotes on here as well as he media sources he uses, are essentially propaganda for young white affluent faux-socialists and "progressives" who use virtue signaling, identity politics, and other assorted dishonest methods in order to further their own goals, often at the expensive of Black communities and their residents.

I have explained this to him in various threads, ad nauseum, but most Coli posters either don't care OR support him based on the image of the things he perpetuates on this site.

The reason why I compared it to the GOP, is because that's exactly what they do.

They use "the country", "children" and other assorted terms in order to invoke feelings that make you say "Oh yeah something needs to be done about that!"

Meanwhile they're using the same deceitful tactics to get their agenda move forward

They literally have Zoom meetings and hand out "toolkits" and guides on how to move these agendas forward. It's how they operate because they know most people would probably shrug their shoulders to the shyt and rightfully so.

People like OP are literally why George Santos is in office...lots of fluff...no actual substance

Just flat out ignoring the increase/improvement in bussing and subway systems in dense population cities. So disingenuous but unsurprising

Feel free to peep the previous interactions I've had with OP, because it seems you're not up on everything.

Respectfully, we agree on a lot of things so no beef, I just don't think you know the particulars and you have a knee jerk reaction to defend anything that does threatens a leftward movement in thinking in this country.

Sure I can. Especially when that data in of itself is flawed and/or rigged to obtain the results that his type of people want.

You can use the search function and I see how I broke down the bullshyt that the NYC DOT uses to justify the things they have been doing under the DeBlasio AND under the Adams administration.

You CAN....you definitely can

But you won't. Because it does not support your goals or positions, as can be inferred by your username.
you never once deconstructed or fact-checked anything:mjlol:

you respond with ad-hominem attacks and criticize lyft and uber for donating to a 30+ year old transportation activist non-profit organization.

We’re not talking about public transportation. We’re talking about bicycles.
:comeon:

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been all over this country, with an exception to the Pacific Northwest. People biking everywhere en masse is not happening over here.

LA-Too big and too sparse
NYC-Too cold and too big
Chicago-Too cold, too snowy, too big, too unsafe
Any major Texas metro- Too big and too sparse

The problem is you don't seem to understand it's all tied together and that's why this conversation is a waste of time :heh:

You’re free to ride your bike, breh. Pop wheelies and bunny hop on your way to work all your heart desires.

The rest of us will keep driving and taking the metro like adults. I’m seriously considering getting a Tesla Model X. Do you approve of that at least, Mr. Climate Activist?

Very very VERY small price to pay when a project like this is hidden from visual view, is quality infrastructure that everyone can use, isn’t ridiculously over budget/delayed AND an investment in folks health/fitness.

People who are lazy/washed could feel some kinda way about this project but clogged roads, exhaust and the inherent health byproducts of it isn’t wavy at all.

Prime example of what I'm talking about when I'm saying someone being disingenuous. The lack of intellectual curiosity never cease to amaze me.
