It can be fixed if people budget better.

Ordering McDonald's via Door Dash for a Mac Meal which will run you about $20.00....then complain about how things are so bad for you.

I NEVER use those delivery apps. the ONLY exception is when I want something that doesn't have a website, I will use something like grubhub and select the pickup option. prices are essentially the same when u do that however.

People are in competition with themselves

Going out here getting a $50,000 car while putting only $2,000 down so they can rush onto the streets and say “ look at me ya’ll , im on the same level as so and so”

Then they calling around asking for light, gas , phone bill money” or working a extra 30 hours just to have that extra 200 dollars to make it for the month

How much should you put down on a 50k car?

I've been driving the same car for 8 years now. Paid off since 2019. I figured I would have had a Honda Passport by now but those prices are unacceptable. 500+ car notes not including insurance, no wonder people can't get ahead. Anything that runs on Craigslist costs $1500 minimum even if it's leaking oil, rusted, and the drivers door doesn't work.

Shoutout to the Biden and Trump administrations for banning all affordable Chinese vehicles in the US while importing almost all car parts from them :skip: Love them tariffs.

The food is always colder than if you picked it up and brought it home yourself.

Imagine eating some cold Popeye's :aicmon:

Maintenance for a junk car will still run your pockets
I have a two cars but drive my beater daily
I’ve sunken 7 grand into my 2010 Pathfinder in the last 5 months
Everything from brakes, starter, camshafts, spark plugs, whole intake and now I need a new catalytic converter
So no you can’t just buy a beater and be okay
Cars break down and need shyt fixed
Buying a new car and buying a old one will have you both fukked up
You just see the new car fukkery up front but an old car comes with just the amount of fukkery
Even if you know a good honest mechanic
Then these insurance companies are big stepping with these egregious prices
I really question how some of you nikkas live
I also find it funny in an ironic kinda of way
You nikkas hate republicans but use their same talking points when threads come up of Americans struggling knowing what everybody is facing outside at the moment
But I’m the paag loving c00n :dead:
A lot of these dudes love Republicans. :hubie:

As much as you can. I always buy cars. When I want a new one I sell my old one and use the money as my down payment. This only works if you tend to drive cars for a while and don’t lease. the thing to remember about car payments is you never know when a major crisis will hit you. The bigger your payment or longer your term the more vulnerable you are. It’s a Lot like the housing game. Use the equity for your next purchase.

The banking industry keeps getting us acclimated to these longer and longer terms. I just found out Europeans typically have 10 year mortgages. Theyve been hiding our real poverty rates behind loans for a long time

Real shít.

I tell ppl all the time, if I got a work overtime to have something, I don't need it. Base your finances off 40 hrs, not overtime.

Sadly, ppl be working overtime, talkin' about "I'm gonna kill em this week." Nope. You are killing yourself. That lil overtime don't mean shyt to these companies, but your time and health should mean everything to you.
