I actually enjoyed the film.. not everything worked, but it was a dope theater experience.. i'm sure the 70 foot screen and dolby atmos sound had something to do with it
I'm borderline disgusted at the adoration of this film. It's not a bad movie, it's just a dumbed down version of a complicated story and man.
There is a real discussion to be had about the legitimacy of the Iraq war, and about our actions and the actions of the "enemy"....but this film wanted none of that. Too bad.

Sat thru this movie, and it ended with " he was killed
Hahah, yea wtf at the end, "he died" ....roll credits.
I liked IB though to be honest. It was unique and witty...and i wasn't supposed to take it seriously.
This was just republican porn all over again.
And the movie just ends with "oh yeah he dies...AMERICA!"
Hell, i'm pretty damn jingoistic myself (online that is) but this was just face-palm worthy.
White people are gonna eat this shyt up though. Oh well.

The only good actor in this movie was Bradley Cooper. It was getting to a point when I was thinking to myself, "When is this going to end?". Most of the action scenes were dry as fukk. Only the first couple of sniping scenes were heart wrenching. The first one with the mother and son, and the one with the kid picking up the rpg. I wanted it to be better, but there is something with Clint Eastwood casting annoying actors. Was I the only one who hated the wife in the movie? that bytch was horrible. Almost as horrible as the asian kid in Gran Torino.

mother fukkin movie got a standing O after the credits rolled, in central NJ, not even fukkin Iowa or some shyt.
also, as a tale that should have brought PTSD into light, it straight up overpassed that whole metaphor with the doctor scene...
