On another note, the author of the article got it all wrong; America isnt like other countries where rampant poverty is in the burbs. Its actually in the rural areas. Places like Chester PA, and Newburgh NY are deathtraps.

I lived in Chester, PA for a bit...not bad for college students
Widener University
Talen Energy Stadium (Philadelphia Union-MLS)

The property owner at the time had a few multi-family homes renting to college students while living in Center City, Philly

Rural poor is worse than city poor. If you live in the city you have close access to hospitals you can grind ask people for money. You have other people in your situation.
Growing up around both, I would say the city poor is worse. You got more opportunities with a more day to day stress.

Nowadays, it seems rural poor is getting worse. With cacs on drugs and the things cacs used to care about the most, the water supply getting fukked, we in the age of evil and the people who are least evil from a practice stance getting the worst treatment

Finished..

I've "heard" about the downfall of Harvey and Dolton Illinois..

I've seen, with my own two eyes, the downfall of Matteson and Calumet city.. Which was once a thriving white community..

But when nikkas from the city moved there, and brought their undesirable habits, the business started leaving along with the tax paying citizens..

Once black people realize we're mostly the problem, we can turn this shyt around..
You can't be the problem if when you come, resources leave. That's a systematic problem which Blacks globally face

Amazing how folks don’t realize how white flight functions.

Black people of the same socioeconomic status move to lower middle class or higher white neighborhood. Whites slowly leave, bringing more black people in. Then whites sell lower and lower to get out, which opens up the area to lower income people who happen to be black, and the neighborhood goes down, and the lower income people can’t maintain the resources.

It’s not middle class blacks replacing middle class whites, and is negroes just don’t know how to act. But by all means, keep acting like black people are just naturally inferior, especially considering all the extra stress we go through, and how many of us have been brainwashed to put each other down.

I have yet to hear white people bash their race for all these drug overdoses, mass shootings, men killing their wives and kids. They’ll come from financially stable two parent households, and STILL do the bad stuff. What’s worse?

Most important you have MASS TRANSIT that's affordable

You do NOT wanna be Poor in the country because you HAVE TO HAVE A CAR just to get anywhere

I've been poor before and I can honestly say it was much easier dealing with it when I lived in New York City as opposed to living in the backwoods of Georgia

"Dramatic Change" Ahead: Robots Are Coming For 200,000 US Banking Jobs

"Dramatic Change" Ahead: Robots Are Coming For 200,000 US Banking Jobs

by Tyler Durden
Thu, 10/03/2019 -
A new report by Wells Fargo & Co., warns that nearly 200,000 US banking jobs are at risk of being displaced by robots.

As we've explained in the past, accelerating technological advances in automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning have the potential to reshape the world in the 2020s through 2030. The collision of these forces could trigger economic disruption far greater than what was seen in the early 20th century.

Across the financial industry, a new wave of investment, somewhere in the tune of $150 billion per year, is being spent on technology, that will "lead to lower costs, with employee compensation accounting for half of all bank expenses," said Mike Mayo, a senior analyst at Wells Fargo Securities LLC.

Bloomberg, indicates 20% to 33% of banking jobs will be slashed by 2030. Most affected will be back office, bank branch, call center, and corporate employees. Jobs related to tech sales, advising and consulting will be less affected, according to the study.

"It will be a dramatic change in contact centers, and these are both internal and external," Michael Tang, a Deloitte partner who leads the consulting firm's global financial-services innovation practice, said in the Wells Fargo report. "We're already seeing signs of it with chatbots, and some people don't even know that they're chatting with an A.I. engine because they're just answering questions.":merchant:

Wells Fargo joins a handful of other major banks that have already detailed plans to cut a majority of their workforce by 2030 amid the rapid adoption of automation and artificial intelligence. :hubie:

According to Coalition Development Ltd. data. R. Martin Chavez, an architect of Goldman Sachs' push to automate its workforce, said last month, front-office headcount for investment banking and trading declined for the fifth consecutive year in 2018.

In an earlier piece, we described how tens of millions of jobs across the world, and across various industries, would be lost because of robots by 2030.

The 2020s will be known as the great transformation period where corporate America abandons its workforce for automation. The coming job losses, due to automation, will be on par with the automation revolution of agriculture (the transition of farm workers into the industrial sector) from 1900 to 1940.

Robots have so far increased three-fold since the Dot-Com bust. Momentum in automation trends suggests robots will multiply even quicker through the 2020s. The collision of automation in the economy will lead to more volatility, economic swings, and social unrest.

Yep city poor is better than rural poor.

Citites are concentrations of resources.. and it's better to be where the resources are at and continuously flowing too, then not.

Pretty much this. I've said this before and I'll say this again, the US is always some years behind Europe. The well to do in Europe live in the city proper, the poor are getting pushed out. Just look at Central London for example.

America was the opposite for a while. Buy a house in the burbs and then commute to the city. People are finding out they'd rather live, work and play in the city.

America isnt behind. America is actually ahead. But white Americans fixation with all things European is the issue. Euros live in the cities. Cacs "Yea let's abandon our house on .25 acre for a 750sq ft townhouse" :mjlol: just like malls are now out of style because people want the row of stores to walk to like Europe :francis: give up a climate controlled shopping environment to enjoy the European experience of walking outside going to store to store in 100F weather/rain/snow etc

Trends are showing that Americans are increasingly moving to cities breh, it just is what it is. Europeans have been oriented to city living for a while.

It’s not just the leisure, but the opportunities.
