Want some smells? You can get those glade plugins, whole plethora of smells.
LA is a city that was developed around the car that’s why. It’s not an old city and much newer than San Fran whose history dates back to the gold rush.
A huge chunk of NYC was built for cars too. If Southern Brooklyn and Queens were developed before 1945, it would probably all look like North Brooklyn

When I was in LA I blown away by how spread out it was. shyt actually fukked my mind up a little bit
Have you seen the big foot?I don’t give a shyt either way but then again I’m from Rural ass Louisiana
At least you ain’t gotta watch for deer and bears and shyt crossing the road at night.
Everytime I think of where I could live outside of the East Coast, I realize I wouldn't be able to handle living Suburban sprawl 24/7
Cities I visited, you really gotta drive everywhere just to do anything
Only reason why the Northeast is more walkable is cause it was designed when America was barely an official country pre 1800s. For some reason, people thought it was a good idea to make these cities so spread the fukk out. Like gah damn, can I see a place where its walkable and busy?
No wonder this country is so obese, only exercise they get is in an air conditioned gym
Only cities off the top of my head that are actually walkable outside of the NorthEast is Chicago, Bay Area, Portland, Seattle
All that sprawl isn't sustainable, and contributes to ruining the economy, but hey that's just me
I need to visit Houston. I actually kinda liked how spread out LA was becuz it made it easier to observe shyt. But driving was a bytch. It was just cool to see somewhere completely opposite to where I’m from where we all live on top of each other. It rarely takes me more than 20 minutes to do anything here. And usually it’s close to 10LA was really not different to me the times I've been. Thats because its spread out alot like Houston. They both have I-10 going through the middle of the city too.
The only problem I have is the same houses. All the neighborhoods have no distinct architecture (Houston more than LA)
And if you don't have any natural landscape (mountains, hills ect..) It gets ugly and boring. (again houston more than LA)
I can appreciate NY type of living, but after your mid thirties that shyt gets old. I need land

The problem is there is not enough land to support the population in a handful of cities.
There need to be people in the burbs and people in rural areas to grow and supply food for the general population.

I’d be cool with at least 4 million people leaving NYC permanently.
