Prosecutors brought it up because he knew the defense would bring it up to suggest that he wasnt in his right mind or some bullshyt. They preempted it by saying its pointless because she never said his behavior was erratic and that if anything, marijuana smell would be another large indicator of why she shouldve known it wasnt her apt.
