SHE INTENDED TO CAUSE BODILY HARM
WHEN SHE SHOT HIM.

SHE DIDNT WALK INTO HIS APARTMENT.
HE OPENED THE fukkING DOOR
AND WAS SHOT.

THATS NOT MANSLAUGHTER.
IT WAS MURDER AND SHE MOST LIKELY
WAS DRUNK OR HIGH WHEN IT HAPPENED.

THESE RACISTS DIDNT EVEN GET HER TOXICOLOGY
UNTIL WELL AFTER THE FACT
WHICH MOST LIKELY GAVE HER TIME TO FLUSH HER SYSTEM.

Exactly. She did not accidentally kill him. She 100% intended to kill him.
Her only defense is that she had a complete misunderstanding of the circumstance, but its still murder.

If they charge this woman with murder she will beat the case, that is fact. It doesn't matter how we feel about her intent to kill this dude. The law will be defined to the letter because she is a white cop, they will take in consideration the events leading up to that moment and they will argue that it was an accident.

The judge and jury ALWAYS take into consideration prior events when it comes to white people killing black people, THIS IS AMERICA.

I hear where you're coming from. We all want the same thing, which is for her not to skate on by with an acquittal.

But if they cannot prove murder in this case... they need to find another profession :snoop:
It’s not what they believe. We have a lot of racists in this country and to find 12 who aren’t that would do the right thing is a tough task.

If you get into a fight with someone and he falls, hits his head and dies, that's manslaughter.

Not necessarily, it can go both ways.
Lookup the Eggshell Skull rule.

My brother's highschool roommate was charged with murder for knocking out another kid at school who happened to have a seizure and die on the spot.

The Eggshell Skull rule states that the victim's fragility can never be used as any criminal defense.
If you knock someone out and they happen to die because they are just very fragile, you can get charged with manslaughter or murder depending on your state's laws

My brother's roommate was in TN when he was charged with murder

As I stated before, I get where both of you guys are coming from. We want the same thing so its not like we are on different sides of this.
At the end of the day, I agree that the perfect (murder conviction) should not be the enemy of the good (manslaughter conviction) lest she gets away with the worst possible scenario, an acquittal.

I'm honestly just sad for the family.

I'm sad that she's out on bail
I'm sad that she wasn't arrested on sight the first night
I'm sad that they let her celebrate her 30th bday while this man's parents are planning his funeral.

At the end of the day, I would rather see a manslaughter conviction than a botched murder trail.
But I would really rather see a murder conviction

I want to see this bytch get the death penalty, but after Trayvon the last thing I want is for them to charge her with something that they will never be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt to a mostly white jury. Her defense is that she was tired after a long days work "fighting crime". Cacs jurors will already be sympathetic off of that excuse alone.

The way I see it, this is one of those cases that doesn't appear to have lot of wiggle room. It would've been clear she was at the wrong apartment based on how their keys work. That much is a given. Even if we're to hand-wave that, an intruder is not going to open the fukking door for someone that's knocking. That defeats the entire purpose of a home invasion to begin with. The usual excuse for an officer discharging their gun in an unnecessary situation is that they "feared for their life". She can't fall back on that here. Fatigue as an excuse makes me sick to my stomach and would be a huge slap in the face to the family. I wouldn't be surprised if they run with this.

We already know the shyt will be rigged in her favor. I see the writing on the wall. I'm just wondering to what extent they'll go with this.

This will be shaped as a mental health issue.

She is on anxiety/sleep/depression meds. She’ll do time, but not enough

Dallas PD will come up with a bullshyt initiative that states that they are in the process of screening all officers for existing mental health issues.

DPD will have to pay, police departments have insurance for civil suits. His family will receive compensation for their loss and the killer will be back on the street in 5 yrs

:mjcry:

It's sad when people get away with murder to the point where you can actually lay out how shyt is going to go down.

That scenario you just laid out sounds just about how it will go.:francis:

Knowing these things will happen and happen and knowing they happen without any justice is damaging psychologically for black people.

You either become meek or you become ready to die at the drop of a hat. That's your whole life adjusted to far on either extreme to account for the possibility of this shyte happening,. It bleeds into your professional and your personal space.

Other folks are accustomed to justice and can live their life without that fear, then they accuse us of overreacting when this stuff happens.
