Maybe it's just the city I live in but I can honestly say that I've never seen a ridiculous weave in person. I've only seen the pictures that people post online. Most of the women with weave that I see, I can tell it's weave but it looks good. :yeshrug: and I see women with kinky/curly weave ALL the time.

Yeah...when I lived in ATL, everyone's weave was on point (of course I knew it was a weave but it looked nice). I don't really see weave in my town in Indiana (but it is a really small town). I also see kinky curly weaves all the time.

I would NEVER EVER date a white Cac bytch. NEVER :pacspit: Their all ugly to me and the only ones that look halfway decent are built like black women or trying to mimic black women. I know that black women stereotypically have a bad rep, not just on these boards, but in life in general and hell with my dealings with them over years, some of those stereotypes are true, even dealing with my own mother. But I'll be goddamned if I EVER turn my back on them. No sir. I am black, my wife is black, and if we ever Divorce the next one will be black. And my children WILL be BLACK.

God Bless Black Women:blessed:

I dissected it because I didn't care about the whole thing. You typed it as fact. Not as the opinion of someone who isn't you. Then ranted about how you've never heard Black women claim preference for Black men if they're open to dating Others. GTFOH. Anyone who has ever had a rational thought knows that's bullshyt.

If it's such bs asy you claim, then you would have no problem counter-arguing it piece by piece.

But you didn't :bryan:

And nice try trying to back up your original assessment of calling me out. Better luck next time proving me wrong, eh? :ld:

That's probably your experience. Hasn't been mine. Not in the least.
Look at the posters on this very thread. MOST of them say that bw are the top of their list.

then black women can't complain when nikkas run to other races cus they're easier to manage
Lmao. Breh, what does this have to do with my post? I didn't know a bw ability to manage her hair correlates with a bm ability to manage her.

I use to have the same problem. My hair was thick and it was always a struggle to flat iron. My poor hand would be tired after only flat ironing one section out of four, lol. I have since cut it after rocking a half shaved look for a few months. It takes time to feel comfortable with a shaved head since I never had my hair cut so low. But anyways, I agree wearing a straight weave or a weave of any kind does not mean self hatred. For most of us, it's a little tiresome to continually do our hair for it to a. look good and b. remain healthy

Looking good means more European? Just clear the air.

:patrice:Do you live in a major city? I'm happy it's a natural hair movement that's poppin right now but them missin edges and ridiculous half hearted wigs and 400 dollar 40 inch yakis are all too prevalent with black women. shyt look at these famous black celebrities, Beyonce and Rihanna for example they always on some ridiculous shyt. I'm sorry I don't give a fukk how Creole Beyonce want to convince herself she is :usure: that bytch got afro textured hair just like the rest of us. The weaves look ridiculous the bald spots are so obvious, I just wanna hold they hand and give them an oil treatment and some shea butter. :blessed:

Lemme play the devil's advocate here and say because the weave they typically wear look ridiculous and don't be matchin their actual hair texture. If a chick wore afro-textured weaves you think these nikkas could tell? And plus, how does a Brazilian/Peruvian/Indian weave help protect your natural hair? What kind of weaves we talkin for protective stylin?
Um who weaves you been looking at? Women and men usually think it's my real hair. Brazilian, Malaysian, Indian hair most resemble black hair when flat iron, so the weave shouldn't look ridiculous when the hair has been flat iron unless the chick didn't bother. Doesn't a weave require you to braid your hair? So in fact it can be use as a protective styling as long as the braids aren't tight and the weave isn't in too long.

Yeah, I live in Sacramento. I mostly see natural hair now but when I do see women with weave, it looks good. Same for when I was in TX.

uhhh, it kinda does. If bm were dead last on my mind why would I be dating one. and you don't know what my parents taught me. :dead:
No it doesn't.

It still doesn't negate that irbw have different standards for dating outside their race compared to dating their better halves. Bw ain't walking down the aisle with Ryan Reynolds type of cacs :comeon:

Doesn't negate the fact that if you picked a bm OVER a sea of nonblacks then that bm was the cream of the crop of black men :comeon:

Doesn't negate the fact that when bw date wm, it just another, more subtle, showing of white-supremacy.

And also, I know for certain your parents didn't teach you the politics of sex and race in America, or anything related to white supremacy, and if they did, then you are probably just a fukin rebel. :pacspit:

I feel your pain. It's probably similar to arguing/debating with men who think they're logical just because they are men.

Real talk, I know exactly why yall trying to go at dude, and it has nothing to do with the reasons yall have expressed...If it was that easy yall would have immediately produced the evidence....:smh:

Same with me. I buy kinky weave and straighten it. It looks just like my kinky hair straightened :yeshrug:
