No it's exactly for the reason that I expressed (he is always saying slick stuff about black women and I produced evidence of the slick stuff). I can't speak for the other women and why they expressed what they expressed...just like you can't tell me the intentions behind my expression.

First of all I wear weave occasionally (I wore a straight half wig for my bf's, friend's birthday in July. I wore a kinky half wig for a four day conference in New York in August) so when people see me, they ASSUME it's my hair not that it is a weave.
Second, most people assume my real hair is my hair too (even when it's straight, my hair is undeniably afro textured and often becomes frizzy). If someone accuses me of wearing weave (which happens very rarely...I can't think of the last time some accused me of wearing a weave), I say it's not if it's not or tell them the brand/type if it is. It's really not a big deal.
