Actually no one cared until chris rock's documentary came out along with the talk shows. As well as tommy sotomayor's rise to popularity.
It just proves how sheepish black folks can be these days. If no one would have called out weaves they never would of cared.

That's bulshyt. nikkaz been talkin about weaves.

So are u tellin me that white women don't have ass? :ohh:

And do all BW have ass? :patrice:

Since the beginning of time the #1 physical feature associated with black women was a big ass.
ww can have ass but it's a feature mainly associated with black chicks. An bw in general have larger butts.
Don't be dumb

I agree. Maybe I can be a little accretive of their opinion in they generally cared about the esteem of bw and the health of our hair. But this just some shyt they bring up to give evidence to the so call inferiority of bw.

This is what he said:

and this was your reply....

he was defending bw because chris b was shytting on us like always...and for some reason you felt the need to say "black women get ass injections too" and "black women wear weave more often than white women get ass injections"

Was I factually incorrect tho

in your wallet
We've been saying this since this the weave topic first came up on here. The men on the coli know how every single black woman on earth feels about their hair when they wear weave. According to them, we only wear weave because we hate ourselves and we want to be white. Oh and don't try to tell them that you sometimes wear weave to keep your hair from getting damaged when you try new styles or anything because they will just mock you and try to make you seem stupid. Even though they know nothing about hair. lol

What has the response been when asked why they cut their hair and brush it to death with oil slick concoctions? Not every black guy on here is wearing locks or afros. :lupe:

On another note when did black women wearing weaves that are not their texture symbolizes self hate. I would think the point of wearing weaves is to rock hairstyles that could cause damage to your own hair. A black women constantly straightening hair to for example get the Farrah fawcett flips would cause heat damage. I would say some bw use weaves as a crutch because they find their own hair undesirable or hard to manage.

You are wasting your breath; no one will believe you (although I feel you). I wore my straight half wig this summer for a bday weekend in Miami. I didn't want to deal with my hair everyday and I refused to flatiron for one event/weekend.

Many men also ASSume that black women only wear straight weaves, but many of them just can't tell when a black woman is wearing a kinky weave. Another instance of me wearing a weave/wig was in August when I went to New York for a 4-day conference. I wore my kinky/curly half-wig because I wanted to look nice without having to do my hair everyday/travel with a bunch of tools and products.

To the last bolded part, I agree.

Lol, girl I have seen. How the hair you're going to speak about bw hair but haven't educated yourself on the topic. They don't really having any insight just go off some of the shyt they see and what they think. I guess they aren't as logical as they think are. Yeah some use it as a crutch but some of us use as a protective style to achieve looks that can hurt our hair in the long run.

Looks very different to me. :ehh:

They actually look just alike to me. Skin tone and weight are really the only differences to me.
