Petty Vandross.. fukk Yall
Ending was good
Claire:mjcry::wow:
Mariah was the shining star of this season for me..
Alfre brought premium fukkery and treachery :mjlol:
Tilda:mjcry::birdman:
Shades was just annoying as fukk:shaq2:
Didn’t expect the batty boy antics:dahell:
Bushmaster breh did his thing:obama:
Got tired of Russell Westbrook as well:martin:
The thing that made me laugh this hardest this season was how Bushmaster escaped :pachaha:
They left two cac cops and one driver..
Take him to jail:dead:
I like how they were sneaking in comments and breaking the fourth wall(so to speak):heh:
As far as the accents..
I can see way Jamaican brehs feel a type of way..
The way they kept using Ras Clot, Bumbaclot and Bredren:dead:
shyt just seemed unnatural as fukk..
Also noticed how they could use nikka all over the place but edited the music:childplease:
Also, the coffee joke is played out:russ::francis:
Overall 8/10
And every last woman this season:ohlawd::noah::ahh::banderas:

No it wasn't. She went from :hamster: for 12 episodes to :demonic:

She always had that in her. Again it was blatantly foreshadowed. The fact that she's Mariah's daughter and how Mariah was originally, you knew it was bound to happen. The turning point was when Mariah told her the truth on episode 9, that's when she started turning. It wasn't on some Anakin Skywalker Return of the Sith shyt. That was building up the whole time. Her learning the truth, involvement with Bushmaster, the massacre... it was all leading to the inevitable. Even the flashback between the families. It wasn't something that happened out of the blue.

I paid attention and I know where they wanted to go with Tilda (I actually have the entire Luke Cage comic series, I knew she was going to become Deadly Nightshade) but they showed her being bothered by her mom and building to the point where she needed her mom stopped but the "I want the club and now I am a villainess!" stuff came from out of nowhere.
They should have been dropping those bits of character change all throughout as well and not just her growing realization of how awful Mariah was.

It wasn't. It was in her the whole time. The same way Mariah went from trying to be distant in involvement with Cottonmouth to becoming more ruthless than he ever was. The moment she made the decision
to kill Mariah
there was no turning back, because of what she knew and what she felt needed to be done and the fact that's her lineage stripped away from her. It was BOUND TO HAPPEN. That wasn't some sudden shyt. Everything lead up to that.

I'm not Jamaican, but were the accents that bad?

I'm halfway through this season, but I agree with the rest of your assessment.

as a yankee..I didnt think the accents were sooo bad (i grew up around native west indians but i get it...if i was jamaican maybe i wud feel some kinda way) but this is gon be the same way Colombians were offended by Narcos...most Colombians thought the accents were horrible as well.

Native speakers are always gonna hear the imperfections of others doing their accent.

Like despite how great Idris Elba is in The Wire, his British accent came out sometimes especially when his voice got louder or when he shouted.

And it must be said, if enemies are still trying to shoot Cage with regular guns in season 3, we can confirm how lazy the writing can get.
That was bothering me too but I figured it's only because it's on TV as opposed to happening on the page of a comic book. Goons go after "regular" heroes all the time. It's just weird for me seeing it in action

This is my thoughts. I grew up around a fair amount of Jamaicans, but I'm not Jamaican so I get it. Some of it was a little exaggerated, but I thought it was more the dialogue being cheesy rather than the pronunciation.
