Lead actor's is damn near the same in every movie I've seen him in. Brah tone vocally and emotionally (character wise)is bland as hell. I hope they let the Jap get hs body back cuz his acting > Other dude. But even so, show was still looking like it had to be potential until they re-intro'd the sister. shyt kind of flew off the rails then. Heard the books are a lot better.

Solid show. 3.5/5 in my opinion.

The show doesnt really flow that well and the acting is pretty average.

But like everyone said, the visuals are pretty stunning.

But ive heard a few co workers talk about it like its best show they ever seen on netlifx. Really tho?:patrice:

Some people, all it takes is gratuitous sex and violence to get them to add 3 points to the x/5 scale.

And i guess im in he minority but i think the korean sister is cute. :yeshrug:

That makes two of us.

erh... 3, @MidniteJay

I woulda thought she was korean/french. She's..... tibetan/german? Uniquely alien features.

On my second watch. Anybody know if the Takeshi we meet in the first episode is meant to be another sleeve or did they just recast him later on?

That was another sleeve.

Here's something I'm still confused about:

Is there real bodily interstellar travel in this universe, or are they just "needlecasting" their stacks to another sleeve cloned up on another planet?

That part I'm not sure, but I believe the ladder.

I was thinking the same thing, but how did they get the original bodies to the other side?

Good question, it's been a minute since I watched so I'm not sure. I know in the flashback episode with Tak and his sister, I believe they touch on it.

When I binge watch netflix shows, I judge them on my elliptical experience. Normally shows last about 50 mins and if I make it through my cardio session for at least 3 shows, it's a go. I'm at episode 6 and I'm enjoying it, not the greatest show, but the cinematography is bonkers and the story is cool.

I give this show 35 out of 50 mins on the elliptical. Recommended.

For Reference OZARK 45 out of 50 mins.

Agree with everything here. Asian version was a way better actor
