i stopped watching after season 5, having read the books up to issue 100 (i stopped buying after that for no good reason) i never felt like the show ever matched the books ability to understand that people are fukking lonely and desperate. extreme racism, homosexuality and human depravity arent explored in the same way that would make it progress in a way where you feel connected to the characters. reading what happened to morales is just more of the same bullshyt they been pushing and it sounds wack as fukk

they don't want to pass the comic books until they absolutely have to. it's blatantly obvious now. All Out War should have been ENDING by the halfway mark of this season, queueing up a moment that's already been teased in the first episode next year, then jumping headfirst into Whisperers territory. you only need another 10-14 episodes to handle the Whisperers and all the fukkery that brings, which would bring us right up to the same timeline of the books.

but nah. we get a three episode gunfight instead.

that's why negan doesn't work now either. they're already trying to make him the charming, redeemable anti-hero with a moral compass. instead of the charming pyschopath with questionable morals and a really fukking weird sense of honor. that's all he should be at this point.

is the comics still going or are they done?

I read a theory that kinda makes sense. Basically everyone has a major case of tinnitus from constantly getting in gunfights that they're practically deaf. I mean that's the only way I see them always getting surprised by zombies in quiet ass woods.

It's the Rick show.

My issue with the show has always been how vapid it is.

The world wouldn't fall into chaos at that level while infrastructure is til in tact. You mean people couldn't find books to figure out a dam and get power back on a small scale.

Now, if there was a bomb or something; of course the world would be Mad Max and Book of Eli.

But, they go for the "when the rules go away--RAPE MURDER CANNIABLIZM"

I don't know if I can take this anymore. The quality in this season has really fallen off a cliff. I've watched 8 seasons so I'll have to keep at it but damn.

Sick in bed during marathon days can catch a nikka up. Season 2 is Underrated GOAT status. It all falls apart at the prison and beyond.

I tried to watch Channel Zero first season. Then I made the mistake of reading the creepy pasta it was associated with.

Channel Zero creepy pasta is a shaggy dog story with no end goal but the central story of the little kids and what happens to the boy who tries to rescue his little sister is legit horror genre shyt. The tv show went in an entirely different direction.

I havent bothered watching No End House. After reading the story and then the analysis that it was actually a tale about co-dependency, drug addiction and recovery, my mind was blown. But the author made the mistake of putting up a brand new story, a sequel, alleging to be from the girlfriend's point of view. Different style, different grammar, repetitive. The writing went backwards. I figured the 'author' didn't exist and had just stolen both works from sub contractors.

I also figured Syfy was more the second story's speed, not the first. No reason to taint memories of the first story with Syfy's attempt. Is it actually good, though?

The Widow: Strong fearless cac female that somehow is forever pregnant. (Her husband, the Asian who cheated death a 1000 times. Always shown as the stereotypical productive Asian.)

Whatever Rick is called; A monster, fearless white alpha male that is infamous for his viciousness.

The King (black): A fraud, actor filled with fear. Desires to be liked by his cac queen that instils hope and drive in him.

Morgan: Mentally ill paranoid and isolated black man.

Gabriel: Coward black male always scheming and plotting. Deceiving nikkas like Loky.
