I read a theory that kinda makes sense. Basically everyone has a major case of tinnitus from constantly getting in gunfights that they're practically deaf. I mean that's the only way I see them always getting surprised by zombies in quiet ass woods.
I've watched a few videos on the same.
Please, excuse me, but, that's giving the writers too much credit.
If we're going for science, then, the zombies should be basically harmless from decaying muscles.

True but it gives me peace of mind. I used to lose my shyt every time one of these motherfukkers got ambushed by a zombie that was making all kinds zombie noise.
So they brought back an old character for the first time since the first season and ended the previous weeks episode with a cliff hanger involving him just so that he can get 7 more minutes of screen time and get shot in the head. 
This whole righteous we're not like them play is realllly not connecting the way the writers thought it would. The logic is just stupid considering the situation. The amount of action taking place in no way makes up for last seasons wackness. Last season sucked cuz they focused entire episodes on many of the more uninterestin characters in the show no one gives a fukk about. I'd rather see any episode that focuses more on what's going on with Negan's camp. This show really sucks right now.

that went out the window when Rick and his team of killers were murdering people in their sleep.
people do awful shyt in times of war and no one is completely innocent. rebuild them into redeemable characters after this shyt is over. you already made the ppl of Alexandria nearly as irredeemable as the people they're fighting; we just like Rick's crew better.

I'm really tired of the "we are not like them" speeches. For the love of god it lasted the whole DAMN episode and got tired af. Didn't we hear this before? How is everyone a bad shot? i stopped watching after season 5, having read the books up to issue 100 (i stopped buying after that for no good reason) i never felt like the show ever matched the books ability to understand that people are fukking lonely and desperate. extreme racism, homosexuality and human depravity arent explored in the same way that would make it progress in a way where you feel connected to the characters. reading what happened to morales is just more of the same bullshyt they been pushing and it sounds wack as fukk
