How is MlW and impact on a death march ?? And i thought we wanted more options than WWE ? So now we don’t ? You literally know nothing about the creative of AEW

Its not about options you moron!

People want a wrestling promotion that has the ability to compete with WWE. Maybe you can watch low budget wrestling shows and act like its awesome but the rest of us cant.

Impact wrestling is a tried and tested failure. Its a joke. WWE doesnt care about it.

I dont know much about MLW but from what I can see their roster sucks. Lol

So yeah all the hopes are on AEW

NWA Jim Crockett was #2 and was quickly declining before selling to Ted Turner. AWA declined fast as #3. USWA was national for a year before becoming WWF developmental. ECW was national on TNN for 13 months before its death spiral. TNA did last and last though through losing $100 million and being cancelled from 4 different networks
And look how long it took for them to fold, they folded because they didn't kept up with the times and Vince was looking towards the future and he started buying them out, they was still thinking it was the 50s, 60s, 70s. Vern Gagne and Jim Crockett, Stu Hart all said it was their fault, let's no act they folded because No one was watching them, they folded because they thought nobody would move on their territories and TV in their area and didn't start thinking of Going National on TV until it was too late

And USWA was also known as WCCW which was own by Fritz Von Erich who had the Texas area on lock then they merged with CWA which was owned by Jerry Lawler and Jeff Jarrett which they became USWA

I mean they didn’t move into other territories because that was an understanding all the promoters had with each other.

If they knew Vince would defy his father and the agreement to promote in other territories, they would’ve mobilized together earlier.

They did mobilize pretty early into Vince's expansion, but it didn't matter because the various promoters couldn't work together anyway. Pro Wrestling USA started up before the first Wrestlemania and didn't even make it to the second.

411MANIA | More AEW Trademark Requests Denied, Including ‘Double Or Nothing’
– More of AEW’s trademark applications were denied by the US Patent & Trademark Offices, according to a new report. Wrestling Inc reports that the USPTO issued initial refusals for terms including “Double or Nothing,” “Tuesday Night Dynamite” and “Fight For the Fallen” on February 19th.

These refusals were issued at the same time as the initial refusals of applications for “All Elite Wrestling,” “Change the Universe,” “AEW,” “AEW All Out” and the All Elite Wrestling logo. AEW applied to trademark all Double Or Nothing, Tuesday Night Dynamite, and Fight For the Fallen on November 5, 2018, the same time the company applied for most of its other trademarks.

The reason for Tuesday Night Dynamite and Fight For The Fallen’s initial refusals come from the requirement that trhey must disclaim wording in the phrases. Specifically, the USPTO noted that “Tuesday Night” is not inherently distinctive and is simply a night of the week, while Fight For the Fallen requires a disclaimer for all the words because “the term ‘FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN’ is commonly used as a promotional phrase to indicate that a fighting event will occur for fundraising purposes to support fallen heroes…Because consumers are accustomed to seeing this term commonly used by many businesses to impart information to consumers, they will perceive this slogan only as informational matter rather than as a trademark or service mark that identifies the source of applicant’s goods and/or services.”

As for AEW Double or Nothing, the application was initially refused due to the likelihood of confusion, as the USPTO noted that there are seventy-five existing trademarks that suggest this one may be too confusing for consumers. While there are variations (e.g., “AEW Double Or Nothing” vs. music company “Double Or Nothing Enterprises, LLC”), the refusal notes that “marks must be compared in their entireties, the word portion is often considered the dominant feature and is accorded greater weight in determining whether marks are confusingly similar.” As AEW mentioned “music” and “ringtones” amongs its goods and services for the trademark, it would be “closely related” to Double Or Nothing Enterprises.

Still got at least 3 months on his deal. I know he regretting that shyt now.

Honestly feels like when Adam Cole's deal was coming up and everyone knew it was just a matter of time...

By the time AEW actually starts on TV Marty will be there if WWE doesn't come through with an offer to big for him to pass up, all Marty has to do is manage to stay healthy & even then he'd still get an offer like Pillman, he's still going to have his pick of whatever he wants :wow:
