in fairness, hes pretty much the only other black wrestler on the market with any name value right now besides shane Strickland. everybody else is either locked in with other companies, or theyre still in come-up mode and would just be jobber status if they leap-frogged to AEW right now.

WCW only made money for two years, and to do so they had to cook the books by getting Turner to pay top talent directly.

"Definitely not three hours, that's for sure," responded Nick. "I feel like three hours is too much.
Matt seemed to suggest that a weekly TV show wasn't mandatory and that once-a-month may work as well, with the one requirement being that the show is aired live.

Might be a tough sell to a network, but as a fan, that sounds good to me. Could save a lot of burnout from the fans and talent and creative.
They do a lot of character and angle building on their two weekly YouTube shows anyway.
Also works for the talent they are sharing and they can plan matches and angles around that rather than calling to see if they can come to TV that week.
