Thats wat @Wild self meant. Move That Dope was CLEARLY aimed at the black youth demographic while HAPPY was aimed for the more mainstream/white audience. That was a c00n move by Pharrell that dissappointed me also. He would NEVER make a song about peddling dope aimed at the white demographic. Ignorance is only acceptable when its aimed at the urban audience
Of course not

How is pointing out hypocrisys and tactics that white people use to brainwash blacks "negative"? Puppet rappers are one of many ways. Right now, media propaganda is one of the most effective weapon being used against us. In my opinion, rappers might as well be in the KKK. Why does Kanye subconciously feel the need to make an "ignorant" song for blacks? Especially with us knowing that its not really OUR acceptance that he wants. That should offend you. Plain & simple. Along with racist whites, c00n blacks must be called out too. Did Common not deserve to be called out for his "hand of love" comment simply cuz he's black?
On the Coli there's no accountability... its the corporations fault not the artist:aicmon:

Can kanye make a song without there being subconscious undertones? Meaning, can he make a song because he know it has knock and will provide people a certain feeling? Some people like ignorant songs, intellectual songs, jazz, reggae, rock and then some. Some songs put you in a certain mood or reflect the mood you are already in. If you dont want to hear ALL DAY, turn your radio off and do something else. Everything aint that deep.:stopitslime::yeshrug:

Do u think Pharrell would ever go on a show like say Ellen and perform Move That Dope?

it ain't his song tho :leostare:

Pharrell didn't really wanna be on the song in the first place

"It was a difficult situation for him," Future recalls. "He was going to the Oscars, and whatever he was in was a different music space, and to get him to do a verse on a song with that subject matter was difficult. He was like, 'Man, I don't know if I should do this, 'cause I don't want, like, a big backlash on me. I love this song, but I don't want a backlash.' I was like, 'Man, no, it's a positive message. The verse is telling people to let everything go. You have a message that's positive throughout your verse. I think people need to hear that, 'cause your voice is such a big voice in hip-hop.' And he was down with it in the end."

I haven't heard the song...

I don't know who's listening to Kanye to get their conscious fix though. Just like nobody is listening to Chief Keef and going to church. I listen to certain music when I'm in a certain mood. Rarely if ever am I in a Kanye mood and if I am nothing's getting any spin with me past Graduation. :yeshrug:
Coli brehettes like to dispute against this? :mjpls: @Phoenix_Knightly23 @tater @Vice Queen
