I think Peterson gave the fight away because he was to inactive in the early rounds. What I'm trying to say is that Lamont only had himself to blame for losing. His lack of activity lead to him losing

Basically, that struggle boxing he was doing wasn't as effective as he thought it was especially against the A side in his hometown (arena, not state)
Apparently if you land a couple jabs and make big circles around the ring, you're giving your opponent a boxing lesson. The judges thought otherwise though.

Movement and a jab win you the round if you're opponent is swinging at air. Lamont can't win a round circling and using his jab with the occasional right but Danny wins rounds by shadowboxing 
Nobody will let him live down another easy fight. Herrera, Salka, and Peterson were all supposed to be easy fights where he was the favorite, as opposed to moving up to 147 and fighting Thurman, Porter, Chino, etc...
He needs to rematch Peterson above everything else. We'll forgive the Herrera rematch if that don't happen, kinda like how we forgot about the Prescott win over Khan, but the Peterson fight won't be as easy to forget since the image of Lamont whupping him pillar to post at the end was just to great.

I came here to post just that. They need to keep Swift away from Maidana. Maidana will make him say "no moss", since his Spanish is garbage anyway. No way he can fight a top contender with any type of power at 147 lbs. Even the scrubs we call C list fighters will eat his lunch. He better hope these dudes don't wanna fight him since they're too busy chasing big fights. Danny will knock carry his 5 round power to 147 for sure, unless he get dem shakes.

I'm going to rewatch it tonight but I was doing a round by round scoring in this very thread none of that scoring after the fact I'm seeing in here. :cmsas2:
I favored Swift to beat Chino before, but after this fight, I think Marcos will be too aggressive for him. Garcia starts slow and doesn't really handle pressure and activity too well. It's like he can only fight effectively at his lil own controlled pace.
Hell, Cano would prolly be a tough night for Swift. Angel needs to take a trip to Cali and holla at Robert Garcia or maybe even Bradley's trainer.
