If Broner comes in focused, he will make easy work of Danny. That's if Danny doesn't retool and work on his offense and attack at all. You can't be predictable fighting B level fighters man. You're gonna get tagged then frustrated, which will make you an easier target
I see broner making easy work of danny

Swift could have beat him easy as he was doing , it wasn't about gameplan, Swift is about to be the sports next ppv star, he felt that pressure on national tv to get that big ko, unfortunately he fought a nikka that was content on running and spoiling, and became disinterested

Too beatable to become a PPV star. It's very hard to become a PPV star anyway. There's not many of them at all.

They way Garcia was bytching about Peterson's movement, I started having flashbacks of Mayorga/Spinks :mjlol:

Broner will fight super cautious against Danny just like Peterson did early. Lamont got that cold chin where you can hurt him early so once I seen him make it past the 6th round without getting hurt, I knew Swift was in for some work. :mjcry:

Swift is the type of guy you gotta box and grind it out against. Herrera got the outboxing part right, but he didn't have the strength or power to grind it out in the trenches while Danny was throwing those power punches. He'd clinch, hold, or walk him back instead of throwing which would frustrate, but not win close rounds. Lamont got the grinding part right and really took it to Swift on the inside, but he couldn't dominate the boxing part and made those stretches too close to score for him.

I look at it like this.
Herrera and Peterson exposed 2 of Danny's flaws on separate nights, but neither could get the official victory because they couldn't exploit both flaws at the same time. :mindblown:

this makes it even more head scratching on how danny was able to do what he did to lucas, who is a more brutal puncher and wiped out Lamont with ease..that fight at least told me that danny was a tough durable kid at least

its the styles. Danny is better overall than LM. he is definitely the better boxer. he didnt have to stalk LM like he did Peterson either. As you can see, Swift has problem with movement. For him to crank out that power he has to get set. this is why I dont think that Broner beating him is a given. Broner definitely can give him the work on the inside and his hands are faster. Broner would be in serious harms way in close quarters though, which is why Peterson fought the way he did. Peterson doesnt appear to have a lot of confidence in his chin. After all, he has been dropped/hurt a few times. LM style just made for Swift.....or any other good boxer for that matter. Dont forget about how he fared against Zab and Devon...regardless of what you think of the outcome.

sn: I do think LM is a better fighter than Prov though and expect him to win.

Because when Lucas lost one of his eyes it was all down hill after that

no, no, no. fukk no. Lucas is a notorious slow starter, thats one of the reasons he looked like a killer after destroying Lamont. Lucas again started slow against Swift and I thought he showed him too much respect. you cant win at the top level by trying to start fighting after the 4th round. the first 3 rounds are critical for anyone at the top level. dudes need to learn that.

and postol is one of those cats whose style is based off boxing and movement as well..too much in my opinion at times but when he sits on punches he rocks nikkas

Yeah Postal can crack a bit, but he leans more toward the Mora/Lara school of boxing (run, run, run, land a good shot, wash rinse an repeat) where as Algieri always has a jab in your face while he's moving ( just not against elite guys of course)

You not getting the decision against Swift unless you work hard for the whole fight. Look how bad Dawson and Vitali had to kick Adamek's ass in order for them to win, compared to Cunningham and Chamber's efforts (and I thought both deserved a win over Tomaz, Steve at least 1)
