LP outchea lookin damn close to Money Mayweather. Kinda like the Canelo fight though not quite as technical and skilled but the overall effect was similliar. Danny landed damn near nothing but gets credit For what ? Plodding forward swinging at after images ? Not being able to close the distance or cut off the ring?

The second half was just Lamont making Danny his lil mama cita I mean dammmmmnnnnnn! fukk the bottom bunk Danny had to sleep on the floor.

Peterson is an excellent fighter, I have been praising his skills for some time....but he has the most horrible game plans in conjunction with his style out of any fighter out there. Last night is how he shouldve been fighting Matthysse. That's why many of us picked him to beat LM. I am not a fan of Hunter. Still, I dont believe this is necessarily an indictment as a bad trainer...but he certainly doesnt look like h has the pedigree with these game plans he puts together. Sometimes fighters need a change when they have been with the same trainer so long...they need to learn something new. That may not happen in this case since he is like their father. As soon as the fight started I mentioned it here. I didnt like what he was doing at all because he wasnt throwing. I cited the JMM-Gainer fight....which the HBO analysts said it was the most disgusting display up to that point by a champion and some even rumbled about Gainer's purse shouldve been held. The rounds where Peterson wasnt doing anything looked a lot worse than some of Gainer's rounds....because Gainer was trying to score.

For those saying Floyd does the same thing, nonsense. Floyd lands a high percentage of punches whether he throws a lot or otherwise. The Compubox says Peterson did land 50% of his power punches to 38% for Garcia....but Garcia threw and landed way more of them. Peterson said it was no robbery.

Just keep in mind, over the past decade or more....it has been very few fights that have been won by the person THROWING and LANDING the least amount of power punches, by a wide margin. I am not saying that is right because I think the jab when used right is boxing's best tool. I am just telling you what the pattern has been and what to expect from these judges.

Another example you can compare this fight too is the Muhammad Ali vs Jimmy Young fight...Jimmy, god bless his spoiling heart, made Ali look completely foolish. Forced Ali to become the aggressor (which he typically isnt) and had him missing alot of punches while Jimmy landed the cleaner, effective punches and barely got touched. Ali never adjusted or went to the body to slow him down (one of his big flaws). However Jimmy unfortunately did things that negated what he did like duck his body between the ropes one too many times, which was seen as not wanting to engage. That cost him the fight unfortunately.

Danny Garcia is going to have to do some soul searching after this fight because he looked clueless and frustrated and at some points was even getting bullied by Lamont Peterson. Think about that...he got bullied by Lamont fukking Peterson.
I don't know if it is time for him to replace Angel as his trainer or what but something is up because dude does not look like an elite fighter.

And even though that decision was some bullshyt I can't cry too hard for Peterson because he created the perfect scenario for getting robbed on the scorecards.

All I gotta say is that I'm vindicated brehs...I've said it that swift can't box...nikkas were telling me all types of shyt reasoning how swift actually beat herrera...now while I said lamont is a better boxer I didn't think his intangibles were enough to beat Swift..i was very wrong about that...khan and too sharp were on point...this fight is already downloaded to my hub ready to watch later while I eat brunch later

Yea I picked Peterson because I just dont believe in Danny Garcia.. Danny is not that great of a fighter, period.. Amir Khan should've beat him 12-0 if he didn't get careless, and they know it. Herrera should've won, and they know it.. Down the stretch this guy, mentally and physically, turns into a C fighter with each round after the 5th which is why washed up Zab was picking him a part those last 2 rounds..

Danny Garcia did not win this fight, and he knows it.. Anyone who gave Swift all of the 1st 6 rounds are fugazi boxing fans.. I need to rewatch because i didn't write down my score, but off memory I had Peterson winning at least 2 in the 1st half and 4 in the second half..

Peterson is very good at bullying/pressuring though. He beat ****, Khan, and Cayo like that. That is what he's best at. When he tries to box he doesn't throw enough punches, and he just moves and over does defense kinda like Sergio Mora. The close rounds he lost against Swift were because he tried to box without punching enough. I thought Peterson won 2 of the early rounds and 3 of the late rounds.

Bradley gets shytted on a lot here, but his total domination of an undefeated Peterson should look a lot better now. Matter of fact Victor Ortiz didn't struggle as much with Peterson either and I thought he should have won instead of getting that draw.

I agree with the coaching. Angel might need to bring in another set of eyes during training. Breadman doing good with J Rock and they in Philly, he might need to holla at him.
