He's putting Walt thru everything Gus went thru, from the trackers to him puking over the toilet, it's like season 3 & 4 all over again :wow:

karma :wow:.

Even ending up somewhat like MIke did, not able to say that last heartfelt goodbye to his grandaughter, or give her $$

Walt never got to say bye to flynn or give him $$

It's still 2 eps left, the next one will be the finisher and the last one will be the closer and the fast forward where he returns to the house.

I think he'll find a way to send to them money or talk to Flynn, but Skylar being a bytch will try and block it.

He admires him. That's who Todd is, symbolically -- an amoral Jesse. He sees the meticulousness, planning, and payoff and digs it unquestioningly, unlike Jesse. And no, it's not because they robbed a train together once. They cooked together for a while, after Jesse left. He basically took Pinkman's place as pupil.
yea i think i remember when they started cooking together wasnt todd taking notes or something. i think walter gave him like a :dahell: look sometime during the montage of them working too. going strictly off memory. todd is a hard worker and walt actually liked that since jesse continually was fukking up no matter how hard walt tried to get him to actually "respect the science"

Yeah, that would of been a complex story that would have lasted 5 seasons.

Walt: I need you to do....:birdman:

Jesse: Stop right the fukk there...I'm on it :salute:

Walt: :dj2:

Executive Producer: Vince Gilligan :shaq:

:russ: o yea cause they got a deep story now

WALT: JESSE LETS MAKE THIS MONEY

JESSE: bytchHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LET ME GET HIGH AND SIMP

WALT : JESSE LETS BUILD A EMPIRE

JESSE : OMGGGGGGG ALL THIS MONEY I HATE MY LIFE

WALT : JESSE LETS CATCH THESE BODIES

JESSE : OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG I CANT LIVE WITH ALL THIS PAIN

jesse is the most emo half way gangster dude i seen since this guy

yo im an idiot and i never understood how walt's phone convo with skylar while the police were listening stopped marie from incriminating herself

It didn't really have to do with Marie, although it may have been a way to let her know Hank was dead.

By Walt taking credit, threatening his wife, saying that she begged him to stop, that if she didn't "tow the line" that he'd kill her--he basically is keeping suspicion off her as an accessory. He knew the cops would be listening, so he gave them a semi-accurate story so that they'll believe Skylar was more of a victim than a co-conspirator.

THE GREATEST PIECE OF TELEVISION I HAVE EVER WATCHED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE AND POSSIBLY THE GREATEST PIECE OF CINEMA I'VE EVER WITNESSED.

THE QUOTABLES :wow:

THE DEATHS :wow:

THE TEARS :to:

There will not be a show like this EVER and I witnessed it first hand.

The problem with the mentor explanation is Jesse Pinkman also saw Walt as a mentor (even a father figure) and they currently want to kill each other. But we are supposed to believe in the bond between Todd and Walt based on what? The fact that they cooked together for a couple months that didn't make it to TV?

They spend 5 seasons building and destroying the relationship between Jesse and Walt (the major arc of the entire show). But Walt gets to survive cuz Todd "loves" him and/or he's not right in the head...that is a reach.

He doesn't really love him or sees him as a mentor so much as he respects him. He sees him as a genius and a great meth cook. He's a criminal, breh. At the end of the day, we all know Todd is about his business, though.

And this:

Todd to me seems like an ignored loser who before meeting Walter never really had "friends" just his uncle and his gang who make him do gangsta shyt. Todd loves Walter because he was the first person that "bonded" with Todd and gave him a chance. He made Todd feel apart of something. You didn't see how excited Todd was during the train robbery?!? He was happy as peach to help them. Which is also why he sent that kid to Belize one way no lay over. It's been implied throughout the season that Todd grew an instant affection (pause) for Walt. The first time we see him interact with the main stars, he tells them he disabled a nanny cam. Todd was a rider from day ONE.

They will not get any help in the future only lead bullets, that handshake was Walt Jack you going to get got, they underestimating him, Lydia will will let them know the deal and that win they make the move on his family, she is the only person who saw him as a threat from the beginning, that is his Walt's true equal.

Of course he won't help them in the future. I just meant they believe they are "square" with Walt and if they ever wanted to work with him in the future, there's a chance they might believe it would be possible.

Do you seriously think I thought Walt would help them down the road?

Walt is to Todd what Mike was to Jesse. It's not a mentoring relationship as much as it's a fathering relationship. Look at Jesse's real father disowning him and how Walt belittled him. Todd was a low level goon taking part in a home burglary operation. Uncle Jack and them probably weren't giving him much respect and carrying him just because of blood ties. Todd doesn't even fit in with them. I may be wrong but he doesn't have any tats repping that aryan life. I doubt he's even a racist. Even his ringtone makes him stand out. He knew he was in the presence of greatness when he met Walt. Once Walt acknowledged him and gave him respect he knew he could climb above the grunt work Uncle Jack had him doing. Look how Jesse was loyal to Mike after he started to respect him. Walt took Todd from petty crook to the GOAT train heist. Todd is G'd up from the feet up so you know he wants to be where action is.

As for the people who don't get why some root for Walt...he understands that there is no redemption for him so he proceeds as such. Jesse's morality makes no sense. Try to define where he stands. It's okay to shoot Gale in the face, peddle meth in a rehab, but involving kids is wrong. He was throwing money away like he could save his soul. Walt understands that lies, manipulation, murder, and collateral damage are all in the game. Despite his ruthless ways he still maintains his purpose which is to set up his family before he dies. Sure pride and greed started to manifest but he always moves with a purpose. Even the "evil" things he's hated for made sense. If he didn't let Jane die Jesse would've been pennyless and an overdose waiting to happen. If he didn't poison Brock Gus would've bodied him and Jesse. If he didn't kidnap Holly he couldn't protect his family. Thinking Walt's evil is shortsighted. People even thought he killed Holly and left her in the truck. Despite his actions his humanity is still there. Nothing he's done is evil.

Why does Todd love Walt? (I thought he loved Lydia) Cuz they made money and robbed a train together once? Where does that loyalty come from? Todd started out as Mikes guy right? Convenient love.

And how do they know he's not a threat? Same guy that asked them to murder 15 people so he could avoid jail?

Maybe love isn't the right word. he respects Walt as a criminal. he looks up to him. shyt, last week he was leaving voicemails on Walt's phone, when Walt ain't even give him his numbers.

Yeah Walt asked them to murder those guys, but the point is Walt asked them. Walt didn't do it himself, and just last week Uncle Jack confirmed that Walt wasn't a guy that handled his own business, and that the people he ran with (Jesse) wasn't a tough "Rambo type" either.

They're a crew of hardened criminals, some may have some military training, they have a huge compound, and are armed to the teeth. Uncle Jack and Todd ain't scared of Walt.
