Gilligan ruined the series on talking bad when he said janes death would make hurt Jesse the most. To me that means Jesse is gonna kill Walt.

The Ummah!
In fairytale-pretend-thug standards, yea'; Walt just does what he's got to do.

But, compared to real life dude is a psychopathic, dishonest, prideful person. Dude is so out there, he really thought he could get Jack not to kill Hank and for Hank to leave, get sttiched up an dact like nothing happened, even after Gomi' got murked.

I understand why ppl like Walt, as a character, but; I don't see how ya'll constantly make excuses for him.

If some gang banger tried to kill you but kept you around just to show him a technique of some sort of money making business but then was going to kill you you wouldnt try to get out of the situation?
So if somebody that you did business with was going to kill your family, but you couldnt go to the police you wouldnt do what you have to do to protect them like Walt did with Gus Fring?
Who cares if he watched a junkie roll over and die, she was going to kill herself anyways, and kill pinkman in the process.
being dishonest, prideful and all the other stuff can describe 99% of humanity.

Just tell me what you would do in the situations that walt was in without being an evil human.

there was no reason to bring up the money

his best bet was to come up with a good lie for why they were meeting in that spot. i woulda told them it's where jesse and i first cooked, and he told me to meet him out of here. then i would have let jesse go and tried to patch shyt over -- after the nazis killed hank of course.

Definitely shouldn't have brought up the money but I think the would have found it anyway. Remember dude said the coordinates were odd and homie had the special app to find that exact spot. And he only had to dig like a foot to hot the top of the barrel.

He should be happy with the one. Disappear. Come back later and kill em all. :jawalrus:

Them Nazis are underestimating Walt just as Gus did. That handshake was Walt doing what he had to do to survive and live another day to get revenge. He's gonna go for some payback he's out 70 mil, his family and watched his brother-in-law die, who he cared for despite the fact he was out to put him under the jail. Walt ain't as far gone as we think there's still some good in him.

pretty much, walt was fine being arrested. and taken away in handcuffs. In his own way he loved hank, if not he could have poisoned or even killed hank once he realized that hank knew. Kind of like in the godfather when sonny went to beat up his brother in law for touching his sister. He didn't kill him and he could have killed him but because he was family that's the farthest he would go. Family mattered to walt and thats why he kept jesse around for so long and rscuedhim time and time again, because he viewed jesse as a son but after jesse went to far walt realizes hes not blood so :pacspit:

and yep the nazis are underestimating him just like gus did, walt looks like a weak frail man dying of cancer, who has no friends, doesn't have a arsenal of weapons.

I'd love to see walt poison them all like gus did to those latino guys :heh:

Why does Todd love Walt? (I thought he loved Lydia) Cuz they made money and robbed a train together once? Where does that loyalty come from? Todd started out as Mikes guy right? Convenient love.

And how do they know he's not a threat? Same guy that asked them to murder 15 people so he could avoid jail?

He admires him. That's who Todd is, symbolically -- an amoral Jesse. He sees the meticulousness, planning, and payoff and digs it unquestioningly, unlike Jesse. And no, it's not because they robbed a train together once. They cooked together for a while, after Jesse left. He basically took Pinkman's place as pupil.

I was thinking during this scene it reminded me of when they killed Gus's partner. This dude Gilligan is something else.

thats the beauty of this show, even if you missed a episode like seasons ago there was somehting vital in there that makes you think like :wow:

it feels like they wrote all 5 seasons at once but they didn';t

He's putting Walt thru everything Gus went thru, from the trackers to him puking over the toilet, it's like season 3 & 4 all over again :wow:
