So, the episode's brilliance is unimpeachable....BUT, I felt cheated that we didn't get to see Skyler tell Flynn. I wanted to see her HAVE to tell someone and his immediate reaction :yeshrug:

Why does Todd love Walt? (I thought he loved Lydia) Cuz they made money and robbed a train together once? Where does that loyalty come from? Todd started out as Mikes guy right? Convenient love.

And how do they know he's not a threat? Same guy that asked them to murder 15 people so he could avoid jail?

You watching the show breh?? Todd wasn't Mike's guy he just happened to work for vamonos pest which Saul Goodman knew the owner.

Todd sees Walt as a mentor, even tho to you it may have been just a few episodes, but Todd spent months cooking with Walt before Walt retired. Again Todd is not really right in the head, and through out the show it's been shown as well as his genuine care for Walt. He even cried a bit when Walt was crying after they killed Hank.
Please pay attention to the show

The problem with the mentor explanation is Jesse Pinkman also saw Walt as a mentor (even a father figure) and they currently want to kill each other. But we are supposed to believe in the bond between Todd and Walt based on what? The fact that they cooked together for a couple months that didn't make it to TV?

They spend 5 seasons building and destroying the relationship between Jesse and Walt (the major arc of the entire show). But Walt gets to survive cuz Todd "loves" him and/or he's not right in the head...that is a reach.

Why are you guys riding so hard for Walt?

Ive been watching the entire series over the course of the last few weeks. Im up to the end of season 5 pt 1 and Walt just killed probably the realest dude on the show for no reason whatsoever :snoop: let his emotions get the best of him then was apologizing a minute later. :pacspit: Far as Im concerned its a green light on this cancer patient from here on out.
Real Reconize Real I guess.

You lookin kinda unfamiliar right now breh :comeon:

I never once said Todd loves Walt like Jesse. He just admires him for the genius Walt is. Stop trying so hard breh Todd has respected Walt from the jump because he sees Walt as some criminal mastermind. Todd has been trying to be down with Walt since they meet. If you haven't noticed that idk what to tell you

Todd to me seems like an ignored loser who before meeting Walter never really had "friends" just his uncle and his gang who make him do gangsta shyt. Todd loves Walter because he was the first person that "bonded" with Todd and gave him a chance. He made Todd feel apart of something. You didn't see how excited Todd was during the train robbery?!? He was happy as peach to help them. Which is also why he sent that kid to Belize one way no lay over. It's been implied throughout the season that Todd grew an instant affection (pause) for Walt. The first time we see him interact with the main stars, he tells them he disabled a nanny cam. Todd was a rider from day ONE.

Them Nazis are underestimating Walt just as Gus did. That handshake was Walt doing what he had to do to survive and live another day to get revenge. He's gonna go for some payback he's out 70 mil, his family and watched his brother-in-law die, who he cared for despite the fact he was out to put him under the jail. Walt ain't as far gone as we think there's still some good in him.
