You could feel the despise when Walt looked at Jesse like "COWARD". Jesse was always in the game, yet he ended up snitching before a chemistry teaching law abiding citizen.

:salute:Mr. White

BTW, what was yall interpretation of the opening scene between Todd/Lydia? The way Todd felt her lipstick on the coffee mug, he has a crush on her?

I had a feeling her car was gonna blow up in that scene lol

Yeah nikka he has a crush on her. He wanted to put his lips on hers that is why he drank from the same part of the cup she did. He is in all practical purposes a people pleaser. He wanted to please Mr.White and now he wants to please Lydia.

Meth Damon gonna make Lydia his Ben Affleck:shaq:

Nah but seriously the point of the scene was to once again show that something's not quite right upstairs with Todd. Dude has a misplaced sexual interest in her and went about showing it in creepy Meth Damon fashion.

Even without the phone call they have enough circumstantial evidence to lock Walt up, most likely until he dies. Huell already confirmed Walt moved $80 mill from a storage locker to the desert. There is no rational way a former school teacher/car wash owner can explain having $80 mill....and as Skyler already stated in season 4, if the IRS started looking too closely at the car wash records, they'd immediately know it wasn't a legit business. Which would unravel everything else....his gambling cover story for example. Which is obviously where Jesse's testimony would kill Walt, because he could give a detailed description of exactly how Walt obtained that money over the last 2ish years. It would be a domino effect.

Worst of all, it doesn't even matter if Walt doesn't go to jail. He spent the last 2 years being a drug dealer and would die with nothing to show for it.

Fred.

What evidence? All they have is Jesse's testimony. They have no corroboration for most/any of the stuff he told them and they would have to cut him a deal (probably immunity) for his testimony. Not to mention Jesse is a drug addict/dealer/murderer himself, not exactly the best witness. Like I said the money would get him in trouble with the IRS, but it doesn't prove he sold drugs or killed anybody.

Drug dealers/murderers turned snitch put people behind bars all the time. That wouldn't even be taken into consideration.

The problem prior to this ep was the DEA would have no incentive to listen to Hank. He'd lose his job before he even got a sentence out. Now, if he says "hey, my brother in law is Heisenberg, his ex-partner is willing to testify, also we tracked him out to $80 mill buried in the desert, that another witness can testify belonged to Mr. White"....that is an incentive to start an investigation into everything Jesse said. That would potentially be one of the biggest meth busts in U.S. history.

If they followed Lydia they'd find out she's hanging out with nazis that cook meth....who have ties to the people in the prisons where the 10 witnesses were murdered. So she's fukked, and so are the nazis, including Todd. Which would also fukk over Vamanos Pest. If you think any of these people wouldn't flip on Walt and corroborate Jesse's testimony , you're crazy. All it would take is 1 person from Vamanos Pest placing Walt anywhere near lab equipment being rolled into a tented house, and he's done.

And from there it would be a domino effect, like I said.

:stopitslime: Of course that's going to be a factor in how believable a witness is. And how they are going to get Jesse to testify? They're going to have give an admitted large scale dealer and murderer immunity, putting his testimony further into question.

This is all hearsay and after the fact. They can't even physically put Walt in a lab, much less near any actual drugs! Where's the meth?

Lydia already knows the Feds are looking at her. She's not going to just lead them to some f*ckery once she finds out Walt has been pinched. She'll either plot to kill him or dip town with her millions. Nazis only worry is Walt snitching and even then you think the DEA is going to give them a deal on multiple murders to lock up some terminally ill high school science teacher?:usure:It's a catch-22 they can't get the Nazis to roll on Walt w/o getting Walt to roll on the Nazis. If Walt stays quiet they have nothing on the Nazis, who turn have no reason to snitch on Walt. (not that they would anyway)

Why on earth would those people testify about anything? They have NOTHING on them.

DEA - "Some retired high school science teacher, claims he's the head of a large drug cartel and you helped him cook meth in people's houses under cover of your Extermination business."

Vamanos Pest - :ohhh::what::russ: "Sounds like a bad tv show buddy.":beli:

Outside of maybe Todd, them dudes didn't witness any cooking. They don't even know for sure what was in the cases they were hauling around. That was the beauty of that entire operation.

At the end of the day all Hank has is the money and Jesse.

:manny:

We'll have to agree to disagree. But people have been sent to jail with far less proof, and with far less than $80 mill on the line, in real life.

And people have gotten a way with murder with more solid evidence. All the time people get off because of circumstantial evidence. You see the AARON HERNANDEZ case? They got the fool on tape with a gun after a murder, and can place him at the scene of the crime. And legal experts still saying prosecutor gonna have a tough time proving Hernandez pulled trigger. And guess why? Their star witness is a junkie, with a big rap sheet. And the burden of proof is on the prosecution. BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT!!!! Ask OJ what a good lawyer can do for you.

Jesse is involved in multiple murders, and involved in drug trafficking.
