@jayshiggs Lie #1 - the gentrification argument

from the article you linked, proving that gentrification helped push AOC

@jayshiggs Lie #2 - alluding to AOC representing the poor BRONX areas

me catching you in a lie as you tried to manipulate us into thinking AOC's district included the poor Bronx areas.

@jayshiggs Lie #3 - completely lying about me saying anything about "Throgs Neck" and after being corrected continuing to perpetuate the lie.

Here's you bringing up "Throgs Neck" first and then lying about it and saying I said it, over and over again, when I never ever mentioned "Throgs Neck"
"Please believe me!"

B,b,but let me explain! :mjlol:
It's right there in black and white you said her district was gentrified to an extent and then mention 4 areas, 3 of which are not gentrified and not mentioned as such in the article I posted. That's the truth so who is being dishonest really? :francis:
I said she reps the Bronx one of the poorest areas in the state. You tried to play "gotcha" and get all grandular about details and then got those details about the areas of the Bronx wrong. :mjlol:
I already cleared up why I keep saying Throgs Neck because no one calls the Country Club section of the Bronx fukkin' Country Club. lol I was trying to help you not sound stupid. My bad. :manny:

i already posted the truth, you can't admit when you're wrong. You must be married , can't win at home so come on here argue when you're wrong and try to get some victory lap on here cuz you can't get it in real life.

You dishonestly tried to make it like AOC was reppin the poor districts and I got you, point blank period. You tried to use that because you wanted to paint the picture that gentrification didn't drive her win when in fact it was and she was pushed by people who probably weren't in the area 5 years ago. You know that's exactly what you were trying to do and you fkked up because you did no research.

While housing buzz has been focused recently on parts of the South Bronx, including Mott Haven and Port Morris, the latest flurry of sales occurred largely in other parts of the borough, including Parkchester, Woodlawn and Country Club, according to the data.

The report attributed the spike to gentrification, specifically the arrival of more young, white, college-educated residents.

1st of "but but but no one calls it country club" - you do know throggs neck and country club are two different neighborhoods? fukkin idiot.

Google Maps

two different neighborhoods!!

2nd:

part of AOC district - again not saying it's brooklyn level gentrification and that those areas weren't always well to do in most respect but teh data and stats don't like, newer people are moving in , driving prices higher, and new developments and those are spilling over into neighborhoods within the neighborhoods.

''It is not a cookie-cutter kind of community,'' Mrs. Pavlica said. ''You'll find houses of all descriptions and sizes, giving it a very comfortable look.''

everything you're saying goes against everything being written, researched, and factual. Your opinion is wrong. I'm literally quoting articles telling you, you are wrong and you continue to fight .

Again, I just said the Bronx was part of her district and the Bronx is one of the poorest parts of the state. That's true. You are the one who tried to get all specific about it not me. And when you did get specific you got a lot of information wrong.
I think, "doth protest too much". Now you are talking about your own personal experience I guess and projecting onto me. :russ: Who is really looking for a win more? Be honest. :usure:

i proved every point I made, you haven't been able to prove your points which are all subjective, false, and misquotes.

you tried to make us think she was representing "poor" Bronx...there would be no other reason to "simply say Bronx is one of the poorest parts of the state". LMFAO

I protest because I caught you in multiple lies and thought you would man up and say "you got me"

You brought up the gentrified/hipster stuff. That happens when the money comes

So you gotta mention if its a more rich or poor neighborhood. Cause the point you want to make kinda hinged on it

Elmhurst is working class and full of gangs

but the neighborhoods she represents have been gentrified or were never poor - that's the misdirection homeboy was using. she wasn't iin the hoods drumming up votes, facts. these are areas of growing affluence

elmhurst is one of the more targeted areas of gentrification and while it may still have some bad spots or gangs as you said, the affluence has grown in the last 5 years!

Cause if anybody knows it's you, right? :skip:

go home son

Either it's been gentrified or it never was poor. And if it's already been gentrified that 'last 5 years' comment is irrelevant. It either is or isn't

what are you arguing about? Every link i posted shows and proves, post a link that supports whatever it is you're saying.

You guys are attacking but are not posting any proof of what you're saying. I don't even know your point..you said a bunch of stuff "gangs are in elmhurst" so what does mean? That gentrification isn't happening/ I just posted links showing gentrification is happening...so who am i going to believe, actual social scientist and city data or some random poster whose been on here for 6 years and only has 710 reps?

I'm not denying gentrification is happening. I dont need to read articles on it because I actually know Elmhurst. You're not gonna sit here and tell me its hipsters running rampant in Elmhurst and compare that shyt to AQ

You can "post and prove" anything when you control the goalpost

I'll believe the guy who doesn't spend all his time on the internet, is actually outside, and is from NYC.

Breh. Are you feeling well?

of course you would, you guys make your arguments on baseless platform and not facts that have been researched.
