Primaries are good, it means giving people a choice, but as AOC said, the idea of having dibs on a seat because you waited in line for it is a trash mentality. If you think you are the best person for the job but get intimidated into not running by your own party because they want someone else to keep that spot until they decide to give it up that's messed up. Letting incumbents stay in place by not running a primary opponent against them, regardless of the job they're doing, because it's "their turn" is why people become disillusioned and feel like voting doesn't matter.

2. Billionaires are typically business men and have experience running corporations and making policies . I would say they are more experienced than a job like bartending. I guess taking orders and making old fashions are transferable skillset to policy making .
