Alex Smith has only thrown 1 INT in the last 12 games, yet has gone un-noticed

Yea I agree, but that's basically what I'm saying about Alex Smith he's the guy that if you have an absolutely dominant team in every aspect he can get it done just because he's not likely to make a turnover in a crucial spot. I'm not giving him much praise outside of he's very responsible with the ball.
Here's the issue though.

His lack of risk taking puts the defense in crucial spot after crucial spot after crucial spot after crucial spot after crucial spot.

He puts too much on your defense to play perfect

I agree, I'm saying if he was on a team with a legendary all time defense, like the 2000 Ravens, he could get it done solely because he's unlikely to turn the ball over. I'm not saying he's anything more than a good game manager. He's not going to win you any games, but with a dominant defense he can play just well enough to not lose it for you either, and that's his peak.

Legendary defenses appear once a generation.

Hoping that meets Alex Smith would be futile and asking for a lot. So for the most part, his career won't meet such luck and be in the position he leaves teams in.

I never said it's going to happen or it's likely to happen.

I'm also not a fan of Alex Smith so I couldn't care less.

All due respect, but why would you keep him on your fantasy team?

Unless it's a 14-16 team league that starts 2 QBs there's no logical explanation for holding onto Alex Smith in fantasy.

My point is, I don't see the use of bringing up anamolies to show how Smith could work. Going to that extreme shows just how much effort it takes for him to be useful

I was trying to show how much effort it would take for Smith to be useful. My earlier posts were talking about how he's nothing more than a game manager after the OP said he was a great QB for 2 teams, I said he was a good game manager for two teams and never anywhere near a great QB.

I didn't say he STARTS on my Fantasy team, dude is just there. I did need him for like 2 or 3 weeks when Bortles started chucking picks, Carr started chucking picks, and Tyrod was hurt. But then Cousins went into god mode, and I'm good now.

Chiefs went on that winning streak by the D forcing 20+ turnovers and allowing 12 points a game.
