Alex Smith has only thrown 1 INT in the last 12 games, yet has gone un-noticed

But why is this a good thing? Why should he get any props for not losing games when he doesn't win them either? All that says to me is he needs a lot of help to win. How good, great or excellent is used to describe him is beyond me. :heh:

Well since he's not winning or losing the games that makes him a median QB which isn't good or bad just average...If a team has a good defense and running game you can win with him...And he is very consistent...He's a game manager and on some teams that works...It clearly works in KC...However this is not what you expect from a #1 overall pick this is what you expect from a well groomed 3-5 rd pick.

Niner fans gotta be at least a little salty watching this while their team has self destructed and kaep turned into a joke

:dahell:

They 9ers have won 4 playoff games and been to a SB and a title game since he left. Chiefs have a playoff appearance and a 9 game winning streak to their credit in that same time. Which one you taking? :usure: I could see if this was happening immediately after he was replaced but it's been 3 years and what exactly has he done to let you know that things would be any different in SF if he was there?

:mjlol: at pre 2015 Russel Wilson numbers @Ethnic Vagina Finder
who cares if you get 5 yards a throw or 20 yards .. people call him a game manager like its a bad thing

the only stat you should be concerned with is the W or the L and Alex knows how to get wins

some yall making the same mistake the 49ers did. Ive done see Philip Rivers put up 500 yards in a game in a loss :heh: maybe being a "game manager" if his offense spent more time on the field instead of just marching down it for TDs , his defense would of got more of a break and he would of won :heh:

a win is a win. regardless of 200 yards from the QB and 2 tds or if its 350 yards 4 tds

why would you care about anything else :what:

That is fine from a team perspective. However if we are talking about individual players we have to look at what they themselves do. And :dead: at "same mistake SF made" like they weren't more successful after he left or as if the Chiefs have done anything of note since then.

nikkas acting like Alex Smith wouldnt be 2-14 with this Niners squad :deadmanny:. Put Alex Smith on any squad with a bottom level D and you're guaranteed to compete for the #1 pick

Like the 9ers did most of his time there :mjlol:. The selective shyt with this dude is hilarious. Let's just talk about the lack of picks and the current winning streak and ignore the below average TD total and the years of L's in SF, 1-5 start to this year, the playoff L a couple years ago, and missing the playoffs last year.

So. Cal
Alex Smith may suck statistically but he playing better than Kaep has since his sb. People hate to swallow the truth.

That doesnt mean shyt. Smith is on a better team so of course his outcome is gonna be better. But saying Smith is doing better then Kaep isnt saying much to begin with and it sure as hell doesnt merit him as a good qb which is the point of this wack thread

Just saying bruh, people mad kaep ain't cutting it. Alex Smith might bomb in the playoffs but the Chiefs have been doing that for twenty years. Maybe they break the curse this year.

Gotta :mjlol: at the selectivity. Didn't Kaep get to another championship game the next year as well? The only truth is that Kaep, as a questionable and inconsistent thrower, had no problem stepping into Alex's spot and doing more in 2 years than Alex did in 6.

Exactly...

Kaep would be able to manage this team to...Smith isn't asked to make plays to win games, he's asked not to lose games...Any QB in the league can throw the rock 25 times and complete 15 dumpoffs to the rb...

Alex Smith has been playing Alex Smith p*ssy ball since week 1...He hasn't improved one bit...They're not putting up more points or blowing out teams, they're winning games 16-10...those games in the beginning of the season they were losing 30-16 because the defense was ass...That put Smith in a position where he had to make plays to win games and he laughably failed like he always does...

So obviously the improvement came on the defensive side...KC was sporting the worst secondary in the league the first half of the season...It's no coincidence once the defense got it together KC started winning games...

You can say that about almost any starting QB though. What QB couldn't have won in the 2000 Ravens?

Alex Smith had a monster defense, a strong running game, and decent weapons in 2011 and he was inept in the NFC championship.

Yea I agree, but that's basically what I'm saying about Alex Smith he's the guy that if you have an absolutely dominant team in every aspect he can get it done just because he's not likely to make a turnover in a crucial spot. I'm not giving him much praise outside of he's very responsible with the ball.
