That kinda showed me the whole cacs keeping on code. That woman saw Shannon and went along with Ramsey when he outed Cross.Shannon at the party
This would have been too much like Luther.I would have prefer the angle of him being a widow with no kids either.
That was something I didn't get. It wasn't like he was holding onto a decades old pain. Everyone moved on in a year.dmx out of nowhere
people around cross made it seem like his wife died 10 years ago. it's only been a year and her killer is still out there. how's he supposed to be over that already
Another thing that I loved about this. Two black MEN as partners not on some weirdo shyt. On some brother shyt.Cross and Sampson

Eh, not really. Luther was a loner that was kind of fukked up in the head. This would have been too much like Luther.
Alex's one major weakness is his competitiveness. He's brilliant, intuitive, smart and he knows it. He handles that racist white guy, who killed his own wife, masterfully. He handles that rude condescending guy at Elles dinner party terribly because his competitiveness and ego got the best of him. I don't like Chief Anderson but she was right about one thing, Alex likes to WIN! When he doesn't win he spirals and becomes irrational and obsessed. His family and friends are trying to help him quickly move on and get into therapy because his obsession over his wife's murder almost caused him to take an innocent life due to mistaken identity and police brutality. I don't think any of them have moved on from Marias murder. They just are trying to keep Alex from having another incident. That was something I didn't get. It wasn't like he was holding onto a decades old pain. Everyone moved on in a year.
That only tracks but his Grandmother knows Alex has issues. The Hero Complex is real in him and it drives him obsessively. The sorrow turned to rage is was Nana Mama said. Only way Alex doesn't end up like this is if his parents don't die the way they did.Alex's one major weakness is his competitiveness. He's brilliant, intuitive, smart and he knows it.
