Gotta stop using rappers as the measuring stick for the Black community’s level of civic engagement.

MC Pee Pants, PPP Scammer 304 & YouTube Grifter X are not reliable voters. And they don’t make up a significant portion of the voting demo.

And even if they did they only get one vote like anyone else.

If Al wanted to move the needle he’d go speak to the church going community. That’s where softness is among registered and active voters.
Maybe, but let us not act like political parties do not use them to appeal to the younger demographic.

Again, this is not true. If anything we may be moving back to the margins democrats traditionally had before Obama. Which is fine. But until I see proof of that, it's disingenuous to blame black men for shyt. 88% of black men voted for Biden in 2020. That is higher than it was in 2016. And I'd expect similar numbers this year. In total, Biden received 92% of the black vote.

There are clear agendas at play. MAGA republicans want to essentially create fraud by overstating Trump's support amongst multiple groups, to bolster his primary nomination argument. Leftists want to overstate black disapproval of Biden, to bolster arguments for (bad faith/ridiculous) primary challenges. And a certain segment of democrats want to play gender war games again by shaming black men while praising black women as good little democrat voters who are "the most important voters" or whatever bullshyt title they'll give them this time.

For the record, I'm voting for Biden.
blame? No.

But be the result of a thin margin? Its a problem.

I agree with you that it's overstated and will lead to a positive-feedback that contributes to the false legitimization of something thats not even happening...but the underlying shift is there. Some say its reverting to pre-obamas levels...I say, due to the media and internet climate that its accelerating

Rappers have always been inspired by Donald Trump

Trump sued Tupac for trashing a hotel room once

so he’s basically the only New Yorker to have a response for Tupac while he was still alive

Trump totally flipped the script after 2015. Many didn't know about his family's racist NYC real estate lawsuits and cozied up to him because he had money.

In Detroit church on the 2016 campaign trail. To my memory he never stepped foot on a Black Church since then. And after elected called African and Caribbean Nations Shyt Hole Countries.

I'm tired of this shyt and the way the same nonsense is trotted out every 4 years. Black men are the most progressive male voters in the United States. They've always been the most progressive voters in the United States. We've voted support female candidates for president more than any other group of men, we constantly vote for candidates who support all the things the bomb throwers claim we don't support, and we do this consistently. Yet every 4 years some black person is trotted out to lecture us.

Biden will get at least 88% of the black male vote in 2024. Again. No other demographic in this fukking country is accosted due to the differing views of such a slim minority. A few rappers like Trump. Fine. That's been the case for decades, who gives a shyt.
dems have to have someone to blame when they lose, russia, 3rd parties , black men

Until I see evidence it's cap. Biden did better than Hillary did with black voters so the data points are in the opposite direction of where people claim they are.

Trump is no longer an unknown entity who people can paint their aspirations and hopes/assumptions/bullshyt/etc on. We all saw what he did as president. It was pretty bad...which is why he's so disliked by MOST voters. Which is why republicans have suffered significantly losses in every election since 2016. They lost the House in 2018, lost the presidency and senate in 2020, and significantly under performed in 2022. And they've lost major special elections in the odd years in between there, up to this year. It's pretty clear people are not fukking with Trump or republicans right now.

Turnout will be high in 2024 across the board and I'd expect Trump to not only lose, but to take down multiple republicans with him.

we dont need to look at elections to not pay attention to polling and focus group trends. AND the shift since 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022 make this trend clear. What more evidence do you need?

No one is saying 50%+ of black males will vote republican.
