Gotta stop using rappers as the measuring stick for the Black community’s level of civic engagement.

MC Pee Pants, PPP Scammer 304 & YouTube Grifter X are not reliable voters. And they don’t make up a significant portion of the voting demo.

And even if they did they only get one vote like anyone else.

If Al wanted to move the needle he’d go speak to the church going community. That’s where softness is among registered and active voters.

Sharpton is right here. Black men like other have been economically battered due to the changing structure of the U.S economy (more focused on college credentials, less on manufacturing). Secondly Trump brashness and perception (because he’s not that rich) of wealth hits an emotional cord with men and it’s disaster in my opinion.

There was a skit on this in family guy when Louis was running for mayor and she gave up explaining things and started saying 9/11 all of the time.

That’s essentially what Trump is doing.

One of them is a giant spider wearing a diaper so he has that going against him too

While it is correct we're the most progressive MALE voters, their however has been a drastic change in the mentality of the black male the last 4 years. The disinformation age, red pill society, incel, social media culture has started to have an effect on the black male.

There is no real data to verify any of this, so I will continue to dismiss it. The internet is not reality. The internet overstates male and youth support of far right wing stuff, and then we have elections that don't verify that in real life. I've heard red and black pill-type statements at barbershops for years from some guys. It's nothing new. And I've heard many of the same guys complaining about Bush, McCain, Romney, and Trump.

I was told black men were gonna vote in mass for Trump in 2020. I was told they were gonna support Trump in 2016 because they're misogynistic. It didn't happen. When you see people claiming black people fukk with Trump now you are watching propaganda, often coming from Trump's camp. I don't think it's a coincidence they pumped this out after the first GOP debate, which Trump did not attend. Trump wants to argue the nominee should be given to him, and his camp is throwing out all types of fake polls to "prove" why. His camp is claiming they'll get 20% of the black vote and most of the total women vote. It's utter nonsense.

No one said "en masse"...the fact is that the trends are shifting to a threshold that could deliver slim, but key, margins

Al Sharpton is a long time, verified federal informant. Who gives a fukk what he has to say about anything?

Guarantee when he dies it's gonna come out that it wasn't only the mob that he snitched on, but alotta Black grassroots organizations.

I was forced to attend his stuff as a kid..

When harlem 1st started changing, the "wolves" were ready to crash out and he "calmed" them down..

Everyone he associated with had a hand in the gentrification of Harlem...

Again, this is not true. If anything we may be moving back to the margins democrats traditionally had before Obama. Which is fine. But until I see proof of that, it's disingenuous to blame black men for shyt. 88% of black men voted for Biden in 2020. That is higher than it was in 2016. And I'd expect similar numbers this year. In total, Biden received 92% of the black vote.

There are clear agendas at play. MAGA republicans want to essentially create fraud by overstating Trump's support amongst multiple groups, to bolster his primary nomination argument. Leftists want to overstate black disapproval of Biden, to bolster arguments for (bad faith/ridiculous) primary challenges. And a certain segment of democrats want to play gender war games again by shaming black men while praising black women as good little democrat voters who are "the most important voters" or whatever bullshyt title they'll give them this time.

For the record, I'm voting for Biden.
