I legit hate that attitude and I feel like WWE pushes fans to believe that wrestlers don't matter until they're in the WWE. It's sad as hell, plenty of dudes will never made it there but they're regarded as legends elsewhere. Great Muta, Misawa, Kobashi, etc.

I mean, I guess you can make an argument for dude but I don't see him winning it, ever. Not sure what "era" you are referring to either.

Just like all the people who hate on HBK and bring up all sorts of other shyt have no argument for his peers saying he's the best, AJ has that same some of reputation the the people he's worked with. Dude has been elite in the ring for 13 years now, and the only difference with these last two years is that he's on a platform to constantly display just how great he is.

One of the main differences between Michaels and everyone else is that he's had WWE's hype machine behind him for more than a decade, pushing him the default GOAT in the ring to the point that it's almost cannon.

I get people thinking Shawn is the measuring stick when judging someone's ability in the ring - specially if they think working in WWE trumps everything else, it's hard finding someone better than Michaels as a WWE only wrestler - a lot of his peers see him as the n°1 because they've worked with him and that trumps watching other people's work, so I get that too. But I've seen too many dudes being better at wrestling than HBK to think he was as special as people make him out to be

The AJ discussion is interesting to be honest. I have no clue where to put that guy on a list of best wrestlers ever, and for some reason have a hard time comparing him to Michaels.

Foley would of fell off he didn't play the Rock's sidekick in 99..Rock had fans paying for a damn Al Snow cage match...louder than any match AJ Styles or Shawn Michaels have ever been in.

I'm not trolling. I watched ROH regularly from 2002 to 2008 and I've always watched TNA for the most part. I seen a lot of AJ Styles "best matches" and I'm not impressed. As I said, people enjoy different aspects of everything. I gave legit reasons why I don't like TSC's favorites and you just said "sure". If anyone's trolling its you.
