And the original debate was that at each players respective peaks, AI wasnt as good.
If you AIs peak was 2001, than players like Kobe, Tmac, and Wade all have SEVERAL seasons just as good or better than AIs 01 campaign.

What he did with those bum Philly teams was unprecedented.
That whole playoff run that team was banged up. Cats with broken foots, fingers, bad backs etc. Yet AI still managed to send Reggie home, out gun Vince and survive a deadly Bucks squad. In the end they met up with a record breaking dominant Laker squad.
I can't even really understand the point of this thread. Nobody would put Tmac and Vince seriously up against Kobe....so why put these cats up against AI? Dude never tried to be out his percentages and knew he wasn't about sharing the rock, he was a winner though. Something them other fools wouldn't know anything about

Yea one lost with good players in his 30's and the other one lost with good players in their prime. A poster brought up how AI never had anyone to which you brought up the Denver team. So I brought up the time Kobe had lost with good players then you brought up how Kobe's team went to the finals as if that was fair since he was in his prime while AI was over the hill. I was merely comparing another great player losing with good players which you counterpointed Kobe was more successful and then I counterpointed how Kobe was in his prime while AI was in his 30's
