Another hard flop...

Premiere viewership numbers lower than Mando season 3 and Andor...

This is what happens when you lose the fanbase...

EXCLUSIVE: Samba TV reports that the Live+5 day viewership for the first episode of Disney+/Lucasfilm’s new series Ahsoka drew 1.2M households.

Disney+ dropped the first two episodes of the Dave Filoni-created series on Tuesday, August 22. The second episode clocked 956K U.S. households. Ahsoka is a live-action sequel series to EP Filoni’s Lucasfilm animated series Clone Wars and Rebels, another toon series he created.

Ahsoka‘s first episode ratings are even with the first episode of the Tony Gilroy-created Star Wars series Andor, which also pulled in 1.2M households over its live+5 day...
Ahsoka Episode 1 “Master and Apprentice” are down by 50% from the Live+5 day of Obi-Wan Kenobi, which dropped on May 27, 2022, with that Jedi force pulling in 2.4M households. Ahsoka Episode 1 also is down from the first episode of Season 3 of The Mandalorian by 29%, with that series from Filoni and Jon Favreau earning 1.7M U.S. households in its L+5D.

Notice how Deadline identifies Ahsoka as a "Filoni show." However, Jon Favreau is an executive producer. When it comes time to cite the numbers being down verse Mandalorian season 3's debut, The Mandalorian becomes a "series from Filoni and Jon Favreau." That's funny cuz Favreau created that show and Filoni is an executive producer. Their roles are reversed on Ahsoka.

Favreau > Filoni with Star Wars live action.

I'm loving this show so far :manny:

Seems Ahsoka was Sabine's Master for a total of 2 weeks if the shyt she was teaching her in the ship wasn't something they already covered :russ: :russ:

Gotta say, Seth Green has done a damn good job directing :ehh:

Oh shyt

Dave is changing the force. Nerds are about to happy. Now they can be jedi too.
The whole point of Ahsoka is :camby: the old Jedi ways because they were the cause of Anakin's demise and setting things up for Palpatine to take over and fukk the whole Order up.

We are literally being told "Sabine ain't no Jedi" and Ahsoka's answer was she doesn't need to be one. In the end, Sabine will show some sort of connection with the force that will make her save the day or be useful to find Ezra.

Well her partner was a human. Cool to see the kid first time that I recall we see them since she was pregnant in the end of Rebls. The senators aint shyt. They really waited till who won the war to play it safe.:hhh:

Cool episode, next week I feel like could be a really big one.

The senators ain’t shyt. That was the point in the Leia: Bloodline novel. A lot of them were comfy under the Empire, and many Senators in The New Republic were still down with the Empire on the DL. All of this is how the First Order is able to become a threat.

Yeah, the New Republic had ZERO chance of working with so many Empire remnants in every corner of the new government. You add the fact that the most powerful people at best didn't give an actual fukk about the Empire and at worst were fans of it, then Leia was fighting a losing battle from day 1 :heh:
