We don't know enough or care enough about their culture to partake in it.

Im not going to go that far but what is true, is that even when Aframs were on their most back to africa vibe, they never full out tried jacking continental african culture outside of maybe wearing dashikis. As I said before though, this isn't a diss to Africa or anyone else but Aframs rarely appropriate/are influenced by outsiders.
