They're responding the same way you African-Americans are to cops slaughtering innocent black men in the streets and imprisoning millions of the other blacks in modern day slavery known as the prison industrial complex. I guess one thing can be said for blacks throughout the entire globe is that we're ALL the white man's bytch, huh? :francis:

Don't get it twisted, while you African-Americans have to worry about just white Americans, Africans have to worry about EVERYONE from white Americans, to the Chinese, to the Russians and the Arab world as they scramble for our continent and it's precious resources.

So yeah, you might have to "live under racism in a society dominated by whites", but we have the ENTIRE world on our necks preventing that next Patrice Lumumba or Thomas Sankara from emerging. So don't minimize our struggles to bolster yours... :yeshrug:

:heh: The blacks getting slaughtered in the streets by cops thing is always Africans/caribbeans go to when trying to slander blacks. nikkas be straight exposing themselves with that shyt.

And how does that dynamic compare to people who have whole predominately black countries behind them:childplease:

Go to an African party even here in the diaspora, they'd most likely play dancehall and reggae before rap. African and Caribbean artist collab all the time.

Igbo are often lighter than Sudanic West Africans because they're semi-bantu not because they have admx.

Also note during the Atlantic slave trade slavers even noted the light skinned appearance of Igbo people. I'll posted sources on that many times on here...

Well , there are fulanis in west africa NOW

But read up on their origins ...they are from east africa

No they're NOT. I hate it when people bring up this silly myth!

Fulanis descend from people from the GREEN SAHARA! Their Y-DNA is E1b1a or E-M2 which is found in many West Africans and it originated in the Green Sahara.

Fulanis do NOT descend from East Africa. They, Berbers and other West Africans come from ancient people from the Sahara. Fulanis I'll admit do have some Berber admixture but they are STILL black and native West Africans.

:russ:This is the thing I dont get, some of these people who are criticising Aframs for cultural appropriation come from countries who music scenes have heavy African American pop and RNB elements. Look at Nigerias most viewed music video. I dont see Aframs complaining about Nigerians stealing African American music elements.

Compare that to Ethiopian and Eritrean music which uses heavy traditional habesha scalars thats distinct, even in genres such as Ethioblues which has alot of African American soul influence

We never jump on anyone really for appropriating things from us because in the end, it's a sign of respect. We only bring up people jacking our stuff when someone says something stupid like the African chick on twitter.

Some Berber admixture? More like ALOT

Doesn't mean jack, because the mixing too place during the neolithic, during that time Berbers would have been very dark skinned compared to modern Berbers. Hell Europeans would still be darker toned too! Plus Berbers at least the ones during the neolithic are indigenous Africans.

Either way Fulani phenotype is that of built in African diversity and has nothing to with mixing with any pale skinned "Eurasians"...

Post those sources for me
Red Ibo" (or "red eboe") describes a black person with fair or "yellowish" skin. This term had originated from the reported prevalence of these skin tones among the Igbo but eastern Nigerian influences may not be strictly Igbo.

You do realize that Bob Marley biggest influences were African Americans groups, especially Curtis Mayfield's group. Right? Mayfield was literally Marley's biggest musical influence. There was even a Jamaican tribute album for made for Curtis Mayfield after his death.

"... Bob Marley was born of mixed heritage - his father a Jamaican born white man of British nationality and his mother a black Jamaican - Marley was ostracized as a child and struggled to come to terms with the duality of his racial identity. His conversion to the Rastafarian religion, which comes from the original forms of Christianity and Judaism from Egypt and Ethiopia, and includes an "Ital" diet prohibiting the consumption of pork, alcohol, coffee, medicines and all foods containing preservatives and additives, helped him find truth in a world filled with injustice and racism.

Influenced by popular African American groups like Curtis Mayfield's "The Impressions," Bob Marley joined with childhood friends to form The Wailers. The group dressed in matching suits and maintained the clean-cut look reminiscent of Motown groups of that era. After becoming a Rastafarian and reforming the group years later as "Bob Marley and The Wailers" Marley began to emerge as a prophetic musician promoting peace and higher consciousness... ."

Those synth heavy Afro beat instrumentals are just rap/rnb instrumentals with african drums rhythm underneath. And the structures of the songs are pretty much formatted in a way that was pioneered by AAs. They even use the auto tune now, too.
