Ghee is waaayyy healthier than palm oil… matter of fact, I don’t think ghee is unhealthy whatsoever
Ghee is no more or less healthy than butter, Its just clarified butter actually. Differences in nutrition are minimal.
But i think he is overestimating their usage of ghee in dishes. They are not dunking and frying everything in copious amounts of ghee,
Most of the indian dishes are sauteed. The ghee is just to keep the food from sticking while adding some flavor.
No more than any other places use oil or butter.

Butter chicken and Rice with garlic naan is delicious. You’re playing yourself if you sleep on Indian food. Who cares if African food isn’t as popular as indian food? Why are you comparing an entire continent (which country in Africa?) to India?
They’re buttering up the thighs? I can get behind that

White people hate on Indian food all the time for being too spicy. The types of white people who love Indian food tend to be vegetarians or vegans.

Personally I've only had a couple dishes at Indian places - mainly Biryani (chicken and lamb), naan bread, and samosas. I haven't had much African food besides plantains and jollof rice. I tried a fish dish that had a bunch of veggies in it....can't remember the name but it was good.

Why are you comparing an entire continent (which country in Africa?) to India?

I think it's prob because India is just one country and the African continent has over 50. So it's a bit less "centralized" than just blanket "Indian Food"

India is damn near continent sized tho. "Indian" food also varies between regions in India. He compared it to a region of Africa...the comparison is not that bad imo

I don't go in either but when I'm ordering out I don't see vegan/vegetarian options from the African spots.
