Africans sold Black people period. Whether the people were from their tribes or not is not the issue. They sold other human beings; and just because you were Asante and you only sold this tribe and whether you were Kru and you only sold that tribe is irrelevant. It was 400 years of predator like behavior across west and central Africa where innocent people were raped, robbed and killed for material bullshyt. Entire villages were pillaged and people were tossed to whatever fate brought them and not only that, but the family members and loved ones left in Africa never had recourse to right the wrongs.

And another thing; many Africans during slave times assumed that the Whites were cannibals, because they had this great need for slaves; but that didn't stop Africans from selling black people to them nonetheless.

The funniest part to me is this: many Africans got rich off of the slave trade, but now days who are the brokest nikkas anywhere? Africans.

We are not ignoring any of them. They all were collectively involved. The only saving grace that worked out was that after many African kingdoms had aided the White man's thirst for slaves; they themselves were enslaved by the White man under bullshyt colonialism. Come to find out some of the Nigerians seemed to have like it.

Akata not a derogatory term on its own, it just what we call American blacks. An African may use it with malicious intent, but the word itself isn't a slur toward blacks.

My parents and family in Nigeria call me and my siblings Akata because we were born over here and don't behave like an native born Nigerians.
