, invest in the communities, create and expand on existing networks.

This will be critical if significant numbers relocate to afrika.

I'm telling you, there had better be nice houses built for the natives too or there's going be a problem.

That's just how it is, same way we're not happy with afrikans coming here flexing money.

The H
They sold us into slavery. It is not and never will be our responsibility to give them 1 of what we have.

What we can do is treat them with respect and ensure the terms of their labour do not exploit their conditions. If you feel like going the extra mile, invest in the communities, create and expand on existing networks.
U don't even sound AA
People are moving there voluntarily
Where else should they migrate to if they're tired of US?
Live your life and stop worrying about people u don't know

I'm not saying they shouldn't move to Africa fam :dwillhuh:

It is something that I encourage but I also stress the importance of being mindful. You're stepping into an environment where your money puts you in a position of power and the laws of the land don't provide a check against it. Your conscience needs to be on point.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
No, they don’t like us. And no, they don’t appreciate us moving there and appropriating their land. I wish her the best, but she better stay frosty

Ex-Detroit Activist & Sister Slain in Ghana

Jeannette Salters of Detroit got involved in activism in the early 1970s, and it was that activism that led her to discovering her roots and moving to Ghana, as well as changing her name to Mamelena Diop. Along with Diop, other Detroiters moved to Ghana to reclaim their roots.

Detroit is now mourning the loss of one of their own. Diop and her sister, Nzinga Janna, were both found murdered near their home in Ghana. According to Ghanian online news site, Diop was 75 and her sister was 60 at the time of death. So far, two men have been arrested in connection to the murders.

“I feel terrible about what happened,” said her son, Greg Salters of Detroit. “It’s a tragedy. Words can’t even explain how I feel about my mom being taken away from her home, murdered and put in a shallow grave 300 feet from her home.”

Salters family says she was killed because people wanted the land she acquired from the government in Ghana.

“Some locals decided they wanted to take the land from them,” he said. “My mom went to court over that” and won.

“I guess the locals decided they were going to take matters into their own hands,” he said. “And they decided to abduct and murder them.”

The sisters went missing last Tuesday, and while searching their home, blood was found, as well as the object used to kill them.

“She loved that place,” said Diop’s daughter Cheryl Salters. “She loved Africa. The people were nice.”

The family is trying to raise money through GoFundMe to ship the sisters’ remains back to Detroit.

“My mother was very articulate, very into herbs and holistic medicine, eating natural,” said Cheryl Salters.

So are you trying to say they were killed because they were AA and not because of simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time?

I already predicted someone would come with this article. It is the only article and case you fools have...

Plus, you can go to these 2 facebook groups, full of black american people with PASSPORTS, and despite the fact that they have visited South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, and a lot of countries in Europe, the most rated location for them to retire is always GHANA!!!!

It is not all flowers, but the overall rate has been pretty good. No one should be forced to move or shamed to embrace their roots. It is pathetic to do that, just like it was pathetic what you tried to do...

What makes AAs so attached to Ghana specifically?

I am not completely sure, and i have asked myself the same thing. But, i think it has more to do with the fact that most AA's can trace their DNA's to Ghana, and i also think, that what remains ''AFRICAN" inside of the black american culture, is heavily rooted in Ghana.

I think @Akan can give you a better explanation.

I hear you, but their needs to be effort on both sides.

Plus.

There will always be xenophobic idiots breh.

It can't be helped. Not even with bribery.

There's a lot of money in contracting. White South Africans been eating like that, since forever, doing development in other African countries.

Or what?

Do you feel obligated to buy a home for your brothers and sisters back home when your hard work puts you in a position to buy one?

Buying them a home creates unrealistic and unreasonable expectations. If it is going to create problems, that's some shyt that needs to get addressed. They need to understand that life in the west isn't straightforward and that there are people in the diaspora suffering too.

And I haven't seen people say that Africans need to buy Africans in the diaspora homes when they move to whatever country in the west. The complaints relate to the derisive attitude shown at times. The expectation isn't that they provise us with a free come up.

It would be nice if they decided not to recreate the plantation field when going back to motherland.

Not going to get into the specifics but I'm not happy to see that woman or the portrayal.
If you mean AAs should get back to Africa and live amongst random people in the village, then I disagree AAs and DOSs at this point are their own ethnicity and Tribe.(And should be recognized by every government as such.) Where ever we go in Africa we should live together and build communities centered around our unique identity. It's safer for us that way. As long as there is mutual respect it's all love.

The house in the first video is a colosseum waste of space. The land is the most important asset in the world. More land, smaller house sizes(Built vertically), and more organic farmland. Africans are communal people so our future cities should be based on this principle. Everything should be within a 5 km radius.

Less land used
More people in less land
Homes built vertically
Cities/suburbs built on the communal principle
Easily accessible cities
Fewer cars
More land for organic farming

I always go Africa for christmas.Africa is beautiful man, the only problem with living in most African countries is the economy, the job salaries dont match the cost of living

If you get a good paying job or a good hustle, Africa is amazing:wow:
what parts have you visited?

Im tryna get to Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and Ethiopia and Sudan.

I'm glad AA's and DOS are looking at Africa more, I hope we can get over there and create communities and businesses. We could stabilize over there a lot of things with our presence alone.
