This may sound naive, but could you explain how "shopping across racial lines" is inherently bad? :ld:

If the black community spends 95% of a trillion dollars a year...who is getting rich? who is able to create jobs with that money to grow and target black consumers more? Do you understand that we have turned ourselves into a complete consumer class because we do not spend in our own community. What other group do you know that is shopping at the few black businesses we have other than black people?

:whoa:I said i cant disagree.

I just think you guys could be running for the wrong goal post.
I guess what i'm saying is we shouldnt be promoting this us vs them dichotomy.

Asians and latinos? :childplease: I want you to say Asian president to yourself 3 times, think about it, then tell me they are competing with blacks...:heh: Asians arent even brought up on the national stage.

This may sound naive, but could you explain how "shopping across racial lines" is inherently bad? :ld:
You think promoting black community is promoting adversarial conflict with other races? Is the idea of community for Asians, Latinos and Caucasians racist to you? They have their own cultures and ideals. You cant force someone to patronize places outside of their comfort zone, which is typically among their people.

Maybe it could be that no one is going to give friends of African descent money to build their communities when we spend close to a trillion in everyone elses. The money is there so why not use it to help these neighborhoods that are most effected by poverty. How are friends of African descent neighborhoods/communities going to do better without economic improvement? How, if not through business are these neighborhoods going to achieve economic stability? Racial harmony? I mean, we dont live in a television sitcom friend. People dont just wake up one day and decide hey, you know lets help these people over here. This is the demonic realm. You yourself have problems with a woman recieving food stamps so how do you think other people that share your demonic thoughts feel about helping poor people that arent even of their culture?

Being the people that enrich everyone while our own neighborhoods are destitute is not intelligent. We are not seen as noble for doing this. We are seen as fools for not taking care of home first. The money should circulate around the community first, before leaving and going to others. This is not inherently bad. This is sharing the wealth with friends and then our other friends outside of our culture.

Im not sure why you want friends of African descent to be the oddman out in this group that waits for the world to shift to an ideal in your mind instead of being realistic with our current reality and taking part in historical field tested methods for improvement instead of we are the world theories that historically have never shown any gains.

Say Jewish President to yourself 3 times, think about it :comeon:

I would rather black people have the economic control of Jews and/or Asians than to EVER to have a black president.
I disagree... but the job Obama has done doesnt really give me any ground to stand on. :sadcam:
The power of the president is greatly underestimated these days. :wow:

This would be fine if spend was reciprocated. However, money seems to be flowing only one way from AA communities.
This seems like a characteristic of the poor in general, not so much a racially dictated phenomenon... could you elaborate? :ld:

:whoa: I want to be clear, I'm not disagreeing with you guys, im just bouncing around some different perspectives, and seeing what comes back. I know how you niqqas get when you think black power is under attack :whoa:

Exactly, since some don't understand what it means to practice group economics.

What would happen if Americans spent 95% of their money in Canada and Mexico? What would happen to the USA economically? Would Americans be able to create jobs?

What would happen if blacks spent 95% of their money in white and Asian businesses? What would happen to the black community economically? Would blacks be able to create jobs?

If you can answer this question...than you understand the importance of group economics.

To play devils advocate here completely, if a cac was in here saying we need cac business's and money to stay in the white community(ignoring the fact that they have them and do say it) you cant honestly say it wouldnt be offensive to some :mjpls:

I'm sure we will all agree its different, but other races dont hear it like we do... are you just saying fukk them?:mjpls:

You said it better than me. Who wants to give out 1 trillion dollars and get nothing back...black people. That is why people don't respect us.
Buying power being 1.3 trillion doesn't mean that number is actually being spent

How is this buying power calculated anyway?

I question it's merits

They dont have to say that friend because its already happening. Thats reality. Lets not deal in hypotheticals. They dont help anything. If Europeans became completely destitute and poor and said they said they need to build up their communities by spending amongst themselves, i dont see how anyone would have a issue with it. They are currently doing it now and no one has an issue with it, they just arent being vocal about it. Thats how they've been able to provide so many nice things for the people in their communities and neighborhoods. They dont spend money with people outside of their communities to the degree that friends who are the most poor probably need to do, friend.

You arent making sense. We're talking about solutions and now you're talking about how other people feel when the poorest people in the nation say, they should pool their resources into their neighborhoods. It bizarre im sorry, friend.

So you dont see how those statements could be offensive at all?

fair enough :ehh:
No i dont see how they could be seen as offensive if the reason they are being said relates to their community being poor. No one whos community is flourishing says, We need to spend money in our own community, which is why your statement doesnt make sense. It doesnt happen. The reason friends of African descent are saying it is because of the condition of the neighborhood and the one way track the money flows in the community, which is Out of it, but not in, friend.

Lets not advocate for the devil, he is a liar.

:ehh:

So this talk would be acceptable in poor white neighborhoods? Or does being white supersede being poor?

The point i'm getting at, is you are attaching an economic condition(and all that comes along with it) to a skin color, and im not sure I agree.

and how is "black money" vs "white money" better than simply "American money"? Is the general sentiment here that racial barrier are not to be broken down/removed, but embraced and worked around?:ld:
