Crime is highest in poor neighborhoods, and poor kids perform worse than rich kids, sure. But its still an economic issue and ultimately an issue in the home. Not drugs or gangs...

its always been an economic issue...I wish black people would realize this. Social ills are nothing more than a symptom of being broke and poverty stricken. This is why cacs work hard to keep black people broke.

I think Hip Hop is the least of our problems :yeshrug:

you're wrong, it isn't at the top but it sure isn't the least. I don't think we should even call it Hip Hop cause its not hip hop. Its commercial rap.

I think I'm right.
Before when things were at their worst
people couldn't simply say "oh well
there is that Hip Hop", now people have an
easy scapegoat to place blame on instead of addressing any long standing socioeconomic issues.

I think we have much more worrying matters to attend to over trying to police the content
of rappers.

With that said trust me I think
there are definitely some talentless hacks out there.

.

:whew:

Preach.....Addressing the real issue is difficult and involves a lot of criticism and self introspection...and quite frankly, people don't want to find fault or blame within themselves because when you do, you have to go through the arduous task of addressing said faults,,,,

Its just easier to blame all of our woes on that god-forsaken hip hop....

All they gotta do is link up and you have power like the 60's. But no one seems to be about that life anymore. People talk but action is eventually required
